Tesla service fixed the issue under warranty. Not sure how they fixed it but apparently the technician had to just move the window forward a bit.

Driver side vs passenger side

As far as I know, door alignment is flush. I am not sure about the striker plate position but it doesnt look too bad compared to the passenger side. Window slides into the channel for now; I am worried it may not later on if the glass pane somehow protrudes more.

It got gradually worse and became more noticeable over time. The car currently has just shy of 13000 miles on it. I have submitted a service request and booked an appointment for next week. Any idea what Tesla service might do to rectify the issue? 😀

I am pretty sure SA's have access to a GPS tracking system to find out where our cars are, whether they are on a vessel or still in China. That's what I was shown and advised when i ordered my M3 last year.

Could they confirm MY production paused for 2 weeks though?

It took 2 to 3 weeks for delivery after i got my VIN assigned for my model 3. So, August is still possible if VIN assigned in July.

Cheers. Yeah thats the gist i got after talking to a SA as well today. 19 inch wheels may look not as good but better for the range, so you made the right decision in my opinion.

Does anyone know if your spot on the queue changes if you edit design your car? I tried once and i can see my RN hasnt changed.
