Got some curb rash. Had it checked out, tyre is saved as it didn’t penetrate the inner walls and there’s no sign of fibres protruding out of the rubber. I’ve seen many US threads of people sanding the rash and then painting over them, is there an equivalent product to use available for UK order?

Have a lip spoiler, red brake calliper pads and black Tesla badges ready to go on. Anyone know of any reputable companies in the SE that will install all of these for me for a reasonable price? Don’t trust myself.

Dude I’d be pissed if those were taken off but luckily my Y had them on delivery, no idea about functionality of the USS in future though. I mean my shitbox ICE has parking sensors front and back which help tremendously when I park in my garage which is tight. Without basic functionality...

Would be a bit odd having sensors on a car that become redundant and not work.

With cars that have USS (took my delivery in December), will the functionality of the beeps be removed at some point rendering the physical sensors on the car useless or will functionality remain the same for those of us lucky enough to have USS still?

Just to add, say I am reversing in the dark on full steering lock and I'm approaching my fence with the only way I can see anything really is from the brake lights / rear lights. In practice then, will the car allow me to continue reversing into the fence without stopping or cautioning me...

Would be good to hear what they're like. It's just me, wife and newborn currently so we could probably make do with them for the next year or so. Regardless, I do like an all weather, rubber mat so might just buy if it niggles at me.
