Unfortunately I can't wait till Jan. Also, given the conditions stated in the bill, the Model 3 LR AWD may not qualify since it's more than $55k (even without the FSD package)...unless Tesla reduces the price to just below 55k. In any case, I'm happy I have an awesome car that I love driving...

Quick update to wrap up this thread. I've decided to keep my M3. spending another 14k for the 2022 model just doesn't seem worth it given how happy I am with mine. we will get another Model Y in a couple of years so we will be an all-Tesla family. :) Thanks to everyone who has provided value...

love it! my wife is not a car person at all and fell in love with our 3 very quickly. :) we will be a 3/Y family in a couple of years too. it's very rare to experience a product at such an emotional level. Love Elon, Tesla and our community!

thank you for your perspective. I am leaning towards keeping my model 3. if wasn't for the ending of this lease, I wouldn't even be thinking about this topic. I am VERY HAPPY with my tesla. when my son graduate from college and we give him our Lexus SUV, we will be buying a Model Y. :)

I got the lease through my companies' lease program (via 3rd party). So essentially I was leasing from the 3rd party (not Tesla)...thus the option.

’ve been driving using the FSD beta for a couple months now…while it’s not perfect yet, it’s pretty amazing already and very useful. I recently used it to ease my 110 miles commute for 2 weeks straight. I definitely would get FSD if I get a new car.
