My June order still has an EDD of Sept, so not all Q2 MY orders have been pushed back to next year. From what I've learned on this forum, colour & config seem to determine allocation more than order date? So I haven't given up on my 'order black to try and get it sooner' punt just yet...

Well something certainly changed within a week in late June.

Congrats on getting the exact same car for £3k less than me! I got the ALD quote and sat on it for a few days, during which the price went up... 🤦‍♂️

Fingers-crossed, it does seem like a bit of a lottery - who knows! The guy I spoke to did sound like he was plausibly getting info off 'the system' at the time, but then again he's probs well-practiced in dealing with over-eager customers ;) .

Is yours a lease order with Tesla/ALD? I have the same thing. Called Tesla earlier to check if anything had gone wrong and was told this has happened as my order is now 'ALD approved' and soft matched to a vehicle. This transfers the vehicle to ALD and I won't see it on tesla.com again now until...

I'm also Glasgow and my June order hasn't changed (yet...). Has been 8-30 Sept for 3 weeks now. Total speculation but I'm wondering if Glasgow orders for Q2 are effectively grouped together for the efficiency of getting them from Southampton in one go?

Thanks man, yeah I'm taking it with a big pinch of salt. But it supposedly jumping forward to Q3 does seem to line up with recent export activity... Who knows, we shall see!

My MYLR (ordered 26/06) originally had an EDD of Dec-Jan, but about a week ago it came forward to 20/09 - 20/10, then narrowed to 08/09 - 30/09. Sounds like it could line up the ship you're hoping for... 🙏👍🏼
