Every car company “changes prices”. Traditional companies use rebates financing and leasing programs to lower the transaction prices which also affect retained value of vehicles. Look at the $7500 rebates on some BEVs right now.

Got text yesterday announcing mine is on site and checking to see if I wanted to pick up sooner. I am out of town unfortunately and will pick up Friday.
What happened? Many cancels waiting for $7500 tax credit. And most do not understand qualifications to receive the credit. My guess is Tesla will raise prices by $7500 like Ford and several others have and negate the savings.
Called Tesla. Car still far away. Said scheduled to arrive in Jax Sept 19th. Last week was told arrive Sept 14th. Allowed me to set delivery date September 23.
