Out of Warranty 2013 MS 85 w BMS_u029: Should I save $510 and go straight to a 3rd party SC?
I have an out-of-warranty 2013 MS 85 that recently received the BMS_u029 / "Maximum battery charge level reduced" message. Tesla SC wants to charge $510 for diagnosis, but should I save that $$$ and apply it towards taking my vehicle to @Recell (which is closer to me than the other 3rd party...- ddb1001

2013 MS 85 w dreaded "Maximum battery charge level reduced" error
[2013 MS 85] I joined the "Maximum battery charge level reduced" club last weekend. My range was capped at 107 mi, and charging is down to 1-2 kw at above 100 mi. I have an appointment to come in this Sunday, but the quote is for a 12V battery replacement. I've sent a message on the app asking...- ddb1001

Battery Replacement Options
I received the "maximum battery charge level reduced" message and have found these two non-Tesla options. I'm not going to list their shipping fees or pricing since those things tend to change over time. Is there any other out there that anyone else has used to repair or replaced their battery...
