I'm leased through Alphabet and took delivery a week ago. Not sure if you'll want to hear this but I got app access within about 20 minutes. It actually synchronised with the delivery man hitting delivery accepted on his end and me signing the confirmation. Thought might be worth knowing...

Thanks all for your responses! Successfully charged this morning. Usual plan is to supercharge via Tesla but I do have a public charger downstairs that's just been installed, so hopefully that'll work for a few weeks before it breaks!

I get that it's going to have its quirks - but to what do you refer? Not sure of any other cars that can navigate as effectively as the Tesla can? Especially live charging info.. Can you watch Netflix / YouTube while charging on other EVs? Sentry mode? Dog mode? Basic AP? Light show /...

Doesn't really help but 8p per mile as the advisory rate for EVs is a joke considering electric is comparable to petrol costs nowadays (if you rely on public chargers like myself)

Seems like using a supercharger is considerably cheaper at 35p KWH now. I'd just do that. Electric at 75p KWHR is crazy money

Really simple answer. They're the best EV on the market by a country mile and it's no debate. Best Kw per mile. Best charging options. Best software experience. Other cars may drive a tad better but the supercharger network makes it a no brainer. I'm south London and wherever I see...

Thanks for the response. Filled me with confidence right up until the last sentence! Do you think it's easy enough? I currently do like 500 miles a month, rarely more unless it's a road trip. I'm guessing I won't have to charge more than 2/3 times a month which should be more than bearable?

I am a lease customer so it's not an option unfortunately, the MYLR they have available is also significantly cheaper than my order too.. which is a real pain. Is your order a RWD MY or a Long range? Really don't want to have to wait until March!! Figure if I pester them a bit it might do something!

Just had a call from Tesla who advised that they have a massive shipment in November, the shipment is so big that it completes all outstanding orders and then loads more hence the expected delivery online of being Nov/Dec. My EDD through company car system still says February but he confirmed...

They ordered it directly through Tesla and Tesla have been communicating with me direct. But I just don't have access to the app or anything all through their online system. Just super keen to get the car now the delivery times are estimated for next month.
