The light at the end of the tunnel here is that Tesla has acknowledged the issue and knows about it, so it should get fixed soon.

Yeah sounds like it sucks. Definitely holding off myself. That being said, a Tesla forum is the last place I would expect “Chinese” to be used as an epithet. I guess casual sinophobia is popular these days, but we all know the good quality of the cars that come out of Tesla Shanghai.

i suspect most people don’t really check their phantom battery drain, so the issue is probably more widespread than we think. don’t have the retrofit yet, but i know i personally probably wouldn’t have noticed for a long time.

That post seems to me more evidence that a front bumper camera is unlikely as it would have limited usefulness in a non-cybertruck vehicle. Not sure what problem it would solve.

Any word on HD radar? I know it was seen on a teardown of the X last year but I haven’t heard anything about it since. I guess it’s there and lying dormant?

Does the yoke have a center mechanical horn too or just the round? Are the buttons haptic like the refresh 3?

So mobile service came by and fixed it instantly, no charge. There’s apparently a window calibration option that’s accessible through the service menu. He ran that and it fixed the problem. The window calibration I had tried was the one where you hold down the power window button for a while...
