Today was the first day I didn't check my EDD upon waking up. About 15 minutes later, I got the schedule delivery text! Picking up on Tuesday. This is the best advice on this forum. Let it go and it will come.

I’m 387, OD before Pedroc929, still have a 3 week EDD window. I hope you see it that soon, but you might avoid disappointment by tempering your expectations.

Also have a 387xxx VIN but mine was instantly assigned after ordering on 10/11. My EDD shows 11/4-11/30 to the Seattle area; I’m hoping it ends up getting closer to yours! Congrats and Godspeed. .

See my earlier posts — I have a 2023 M3 LR on order from existing inventory. Order date 10/11, original EDD 10/27-11/24. Today, my EDD saw the first update, now a bit of a shorter window. New EDD 10/31-11/23.

Update on my order (one of the "existing inventory" LRs): Spoke to Tesla yesterday, and the customer support rep confirmed that even though I have a VIN, my car has likely not been built. He mentioned that support can normally see the battery charge level on a car once it has been assembled, but...

I ordered one of the LRs out of existing inventory about 2 weeks ago. EDD still showing 10/27-11/24, but I’m very doubtful on the start of that date range. Vin showed in the app instantly but yeah, not a peep other than that. Will update when I have a delivery appointment.

afaik this part of the Inflation Reduction Act goes into effect Jan 1, 2023.

Is PPF worth it for white paint? I'm weighing it for my own purchase, but it seems very expensive relative to the amount of protection it offers. I feel like a tube of touch up paint on a white car will very cheaply repair anything PPF could have prevented.

Don’t have the car yet, but that is what I’m expecting from the order and in the app. I think some orders canceled or they added these vehicles in the simplest configuration to meet a production target.

I was one of them. It’s the LRs in existing inventory that say expected to be built for Nov-Dec. VIN assigned immediately but so far it doesn’t seem like anyone has a delivery date yet. Mine is late Oct-Thanksgiving.
