    Supercharger - Richardson, TX

Here's some photos of the site as of today. Looks like just the transformer and a little landscaping to go. Neat layout! Should prevent stalls from being blocked by CCS vehicles given the double sided approach to 4 of thr charge cabinets. Hopefully they mark all 10 parking spots clearly to avoid...

    Supercharger - Richardson, TX

Glad to see this! Fills in a coverage gap in the Dallas metro. Location is a great choice! Lots of amenities and conveniently placed near the intersection of PGBTP and US-75.

    Supercharger - Oakley, KS

    Location now live.

Supercharger - Oklahoma City, OK - NE 36th St

We desperately need more destination chargers at locations where people spend at least a few hours. I hope with the new Universal Wall Connector we see a push for more and bigger installs with reasonable billing per kWh. I imagine $0.10-0.15 per kWh would make the install cost neutral in a short...

Supercharger - Oklahoma City, OK - NE 36th St

So I'm not just being selfish because I have family there? It actually IS a very strategic location right? That's what I've thought for a year now.

Supercharger - Oklahoma City, OK - NE 36th St

YES!!! Looks like Tesla is getting serious about an Oklahoma expansion. Hoping for more builds in outlying areas. Hoping for a Lawton build.

    Supercharger - Raton, NM

Just drove by this location. Found a backhoe sitting on a freshly cleared pad of dirt behind Helen's Gift Shop. Backhoe was on the northeast edge of the Conoco parking lot. Maybe unrelated, but if this is in fact the construction site they appear to have begun this project.

    Supercharger - Denton, TX - 2800 I-35E (Buc-ee's)

Chargers are installed with cones blocking the spaces for now. Transformer appears installed but is missing a meter.

    Hardwire a 14-50 plug to a UMC

Done! Replaced the plug on two Gen 1 UMCs today and they're both working wonderfully! Sharing some details just in case someone else wants the info: I decided to use a different plug than the one above. The plug was designed for a 1" cord diameter, so I used a small piece of dishwasher drain...

Supercharger - Oklahoma City, OK - W Sheridan Ave

Great find! So glad to see a new location in OK!!! Hopefully along with the Tulsa V3 build and the Ardmore V3 expansion - this means Tesla is making a meaningful push into Oklahoma. Wish it was closer to the i35/i40 interchange - like the rumored Bass Pro Shops location - but it's not far off...

    Hardwire a 14-50 plug to a UMC

My apologies. I was thinking / typing out loud. What I should have asked is if you know why the blue wire was ever included. Seems odd to run an unnecessary line. Guide was very thorough, appreciate it.

    Hardwire a 14-50 plug to a UMC

Legendary!! Thank you <3 So the purple wire is just wired with the resistor inline with ground, and the blue does nothing?

    Hardwire a 14-50 plug to a UMC

Awesome guide! I'm getting ready to try to turn 2 gen 1 UMCs into DIY corded wall connectors. Would really help to be able to see the rest of the photos, do you think you could reply with them? I know it's been a long time but thought I'd ask.

Supercharger - South Padre Island, TX

Does anyone know the history of this location? It looks like at some point "Schlitterbahn South Padre" became "Beach Park at Isla Blanca". Was the Holiday Inn Resort hotel next door at some point part of a Schlitterbahn resort build out? Did they divest and sell off? If so, when? Just curious...

Guide to Install Secondary 12v Outlet Without Splicing or Cutting

My one defense to my guide above is that I used 14 AWG wire, which will carry the full 12A continuous / 16A peak the accessory port supports. The adapter you linked is limited to 24 watts according to it's description - which is 2A. It could be in reality capable of higher draw, but according to...

Guide to Install Secondary 12v Outlet Without Splicing or Cutting

DANG! Wish I could have found that 😭 Thanks for linking it. I had fun making my adapter, but that seems like the way to go otherwise.

    Supercharger - Ardmore, OK

I would seriously recommend a CHAdeMO adapter. Even as a backup moving forward given CCS handles fail all the time. Of course, get your CCS upgrade when you can but the CHAdeMO adapter is a good stop gap. The Francis Energy station at the Hilton Garden Inn is solid. There are 8 pedestals. 4x...

    Supercharger - Ardmore, OK

I'm incredibly frustrated by the trend of people wanting another "backyard" supercharger. I want to see a rule implemented in the voting process where new locations must be X amount of miles from existing locations. Desperately want to see Lawton covered for selfish reasons. Edmond and Moore...

Guide to Install Secondary 12v Outlet Without Splicing or Cutting

Do you mean a cigarette lighter splitter or the three pole connector splitter? I tried to find it before making it myself.

Guide to Install Secondary 12v Outlet Without Splicing or Cutting

Hi all, I wanted to install a secondary 12v outlet in my 2019 Model 3 but wasn't content with other solutions, which included splicing the existing wiring or dragging a line to the battery. It was difficult to track down the parts list, but I managed to compile a list of connectors and terminals...

Charged here on Saturday. Pulled 240something. Great location and decently close to the entrance!!

    Supercharger - Royse City, TX

This is me on PlugShare. Am I correct that this shipping container is Tesla equipment? I've seen them in a couple locations (Buc-ee's) and they're unmarked but placed where I'd expect a SuC. I'll keep an eye out for them if that's in fact what they are.
