We have a model 3LR, and it took awhile getting used to how it responds and to get comfortable. I agree it responds different from all my other cars, For the 1st few months we were adjusting it back and forth, up and down, auto\\manual. Tinting the windows really helped,

Opps, She got sooo mad, you would have thought I kicked the dog. It literally takes 5 mins to set up again, then maybe 5 more tweaking it. I told her to turn up the seat heat and relax.

After last update, mine is working much better, opens 99% of the time, "Closes" went from 40% to 80% of the time. Maybe more, need to test it. Hope I didn't just jinx it ;]. Anyone else noticed a difference?

The 1st time I set it up, I set the home location while inside the garage. After reading the instructions, it said to do it outside the door, I did that a couple of times, and it seemed to help. But like you, it still fails to close off and on.
