    Following Distance Change for FSD.

I noticed this in the most recent FSD Beta update I’m on 11.4.9 that Assertive no longer persists. It’s annoying and I submitted a ticket to see what the FSD team or service says.

Wiki FSD’s Earliest Adopters Still Waiting

I’m disappointed that I’m on the 2024.2.x branch with my legacy MS 2016 HW3 MCU 2 and upgraded cameras (twice). Was definitely in the early group for FSD Beta releases until this week’s v12.3 release. Freaking font update!!

Poll: When will FSD V12 be in wide release?

My car has had FSD since 2017 and was receiving all updates until the 2024.2.7 font recall update. Unsure why that caused such a dramatic branch.

Headlight frozen ‘on’ after SW update

    Already off. Software is strange.

Headlight frozen ‘on’ after SW update

This exact thing (left headlight always on, left turn signal super fast without clicking) just happened to me when I did the update today 2023.44.30.4 Whaaat? 2016 MS HW3 MCU2 upgrade

Enphase introduces new EV Charger with J1772 - charges $1,176 for 64A version

Solid points. The discussion has helped me condense my opinion on it to “Tesla’s is cheaper and equally good or better in every other way, adapter or no” which makes this product, at this time, a miss. My R1T has a J1772 connector and I use my Wall Charger with an adapter. Seems like a better...

Enphase introduces new EV Charger with J1772 - charges $1,176 for 64A version

True, but since NACS and CCS can be adapted to each other so readily on level 2 charging why default to the (now) defunct CCS and expect all future cars to need a $70 adapter or cable retrofit instead of the more future-proof NACS connector, and at nearly *triple* the price of a Tesla Wall...

Enphase introduces new EV Charger with J1772 - charges $1,176 for 64A version

https://enphase.com/ev-chargers/home https://enphase.com/store/ev-chargers/connected-ev-chargers-home/iq-80-ev-charger-hardwired-64 No word on bi-directionality (won't matter for us older Tesla owners) but how about the decision to stick to J1772 as opposed to NACS? My Tesla Wall Charger...

OTA upgrade on MCU1 today just messed up my car. Looking for insight

I just discovered this thread and the fact pattern nearly completely matches what happened to my car (2016 MS 90D with MCU1, HW3) with the additional complication that mine was totally bricked with no unlock/handles not presenting etc without an extensive remote reset operation by roadside...

MCU1 memory issues vs. MCU 2 offer from Tesla Service

Hi All! This is an old thread but my 2016 MS (MCU1 / HW3 / eMMC recall completed) out of warranty was in at the SC for intermittent bricking of the car (ie deep sleep totally unresponsive to key fob or app wake, sometimes while parked a short while or overnight) and their diagnosis was memory...

    Funny FSD story

FSD Beta for legacy Model S/X with MCU1 (2022.8.10.8)

I received the recall letter but it didn’t include details of when the update will be available or any other tidbits. Will update the thread whenever I get more info. I’ve noticed a lot fewer disengagements/interventions needed on city streets. FSD is still not at all perfect but it does...

I have FSDb AND still have the score. Weird.

Visualizations definitely have a lower res look but it seems as though all the necessary object tracking is consistent with other FSD beta videos on non-MCU1 cars.

Tesla App shows cameras need upgrade on vehicle that has MCU2 and new cameras for FSD Beta?

Spoke to soon, I got beta today! Drives like a 15yo on a learners permit but hey!

Tesla App shows cameras need upgrade on vehicle that has MCU2 and new cameras for FSD Beta?

He posted earlier in this tread he had previously bought MCU 2. I have this same care too (72XXX VIN) but still on MCU 1 so I’m probably bottom of the list.

FSD Beta for legacy Model S/X with MCU1 (2022.8.10.8)

Not yet! Emailed FSD Beta team and scheduled service to try and push them for an answer but only radio silence. Also no holiday update yet.

FSD Beta for legacy Model S/X with MCU1 (2022.8.10.8)

Quick update here: over 80 Safety Score (unfairly knocked for living on windy roads and for several bogus FCWs) and driven over 100mi on autopilot. No FSD Beta update. App does not show any notification about being “ineligible”. We’ll see what happens with holiday update. Actually looking...

FSD Beta for legacy Model S/X with MCU1 (2022.8.10.8)

Hey all, I have a FSD 2016 MCU 1.0 with HW 3.0 upgrade and I recall they had replaced my cameras when they did the 3.0 upgrade, but last week my car wasn’t prompting me for the software upgrade so I was a bit frustrated. I had another service center appointment scheduled already for later that...
