What Are Inventory Cars? vs Ordered?

I’m not seeing price reduction on inventory, is this available only regionally? Looking at X in California

2023 Model Y no USS discussion, incl. Discussion of Tesla Vision Firmware

Basically just have to ignore TV and park it yourself. I also noticed that I’m losing more range from “other” category recently and might have to do with TV processing power usage, I wish they would have the option to just let us turn it off

What's your Wh/mi and how do you do it? Any tips?

I have lifetime of 228 on MY, mostly local, mild weather in CA, hurt about 5% from living on a hill (down hill then up loses set amount of energy from imperfect regen)

2023 Model Y LR Poor Mileage in real world

I’m aware of the article but didn’t realize the extent of the cheating. The article stated something in the mid 20% under EPA but this says 40%. I’m actually one of the few people that actually hit EPA range as I live in California and drive local more often than not, so I should expect to get...

2023 Model Y LR Poor Mileage in real world

Am I reading the graphs correctly that both S and Y get 60% of the sticker range even at optimal temperatures, whereas both the Bolt and Mustang get over 100% at the optimal temps? How is this possibly legal?

    Battery and range issues

2023 Model Y no USS discussion, incl. Discussion of Tesla Vision Firmware

Reinvent? They flat out removed the wheels, then months later gave us square wheels and promised a better wheel will come “eventually” when they feel like it

    MY efficiency at 5700 miles

Mostly dropping kids off at school and short distance local driving. We took a few trips to ski which probably accounts for about 600-700 miles of total driven, with significant range loss. Usually we lose about 6-7% from elevation and more on “other”, and gain mostly from driving on energy screen

    MY efficiency at 5700 miles

One thing I noticed is that the “other” category expected range usage is higher recently maybe from vision park assist update?

    MY efficiency at 5700 miles

We lose a lot of efficiency living on a hill but otherwise seem to be hitting the EPA range and more. Anyone else have similar experience?

    M3 vs MY efficiency

To add to this, battery drain while parked doesn’t get in that calculation either
  17. J

    Really low range

Depends on elevation also, you can see details on the energy screen which I use to track my usage. I’m also in Socal and a lot of my losses come from elevation, you inevitably lose some range going up and down the same hill.
  18. J

    Really low range

Wow I thought I was a unicorn getting 230wh/m in my energy app

    MY really loud road noise?

2023 Austin MYLR, I can very clearly hear any cracks or bumps in the road, 2022 M3 on the same stretch has a lot lower road noise in comparison. Is this normal? I thought 2023 MY is supposed to have comfort suspension?
  20. J

2023 Model Y LR Poor Mileage in real world

I have 230 WH/mile over 1200 miles since delivery, just took a 200 mile trip on the freeway with lots of hills too. No AC usage in CA helped a lot

Will you go to the Telsa store tomorrow after the price drop

Long range? Also it needs to come under 55k with destination charges right? So if it’s over 54k it doesn’t qualify
  22. J

Will you go to the Telsa store tomorrow after the price drop

A 50k purchase is not something thousands of people can just decide on one day even if the price just became a lot more attractive. Probably will take at least a few weeks to deliver all the inventory and start having a line again. That said looking at 200 mile range from Los Angeles there are...

    Battery consumption, is this normal?

You mean the rest of the world exists? How dare you!

    Battery consumption, is this normal?

How the heck are you guys getting below 200wh/mi??? I turn off AC and drive like a grandma and still getting 220+

Anyone here order during Tesla's deal and actually received by 12/31/22?

Saw the 7,500 discount on 22nd, looked at existing inventory, picked one and had it delivered to our driveway on the 26th. All while we’re out vacationing in Hawaii.

Anyone saw the standard range mode Y pop up in Tesla website?

I looked at it briefly before closing it and it was gone the next time I opened, it had white exterior and black interior I believe, so maybe the additional is coming from the wheels. 60k before destination charge to 55k after destination charge would be a very significant discount and I'm...

    M3 vs MY efficiency

Right I was expecting a 10% loss based on the EPA rating, but I'm seeing 15% despite the M3 being elevated due to summer AC blast, so realistically it might be close to 20%. I've also never had a situation where I don't have at least 10% savings from the "Driving" category of the battery...

    M3 vs MY efficiency

I had a M3 which I've driven over 8,300 miles with about 213Wh/Mi with grandma driving, would be much lower if we didn't have to blast AC during the summer. I just got the MY and noticed that the battery usage is about 15% higher even though we do not turn on the A/C, namely the "driving"...
