Like a jerk? Speed limit is 55 where I live. Generally when I see someone driving with excessive speed coming up behind me I would have moved over prior but this guy I didn't see coming, he was flying. He came right up on my bumper which to me is someone being a jerk.
I have regular Autopilot and had an interesting experience this morning.
Was driving on the highway doing 68 (normal max) in the left lane and some jerk came up behind me doing at least 80. When he got close close my M3 started to brake and veer to the right into the center lane. Quite...
See, that's the thing. Some folks find it necessary to be personal and insulting. That has no place here or anyplace civilized folks talk. And no, humans have not existed through all pre-history.
I have not and would not make a personal insult here.
I have never had that happen to me during regular use.
However, I had my car in for repairs and gave them the key card. While they were working on it I did get that notification a few times. They had opened the doors and left them open while the work was going on.
I didn't realize the Tesla doesn't have amazing tech and isn't an amazing car.
My discussing CO2 is past history, Sorry if you confused that with human history. I can site other examples of research but that is not my point here.
My points stand. I do not disagree with being a good custodian...
I bought my Tesla because it has amazing Tech and it's a fantastic car overall. Honestly I do not believe the Climate Change thing at all, there have been many periods in our planets history were CO2 has been very much higher than it is now. It's just another in a long series of "emergencies."...
I've noticed since the update that Apple Music sometimes will not play. I can use the Tesla Streaming but the Apple window will open but hitting play has no effect and the display still says to select media source. I have to reboot for it to work again.
First impression is that the distance shown when pulling into a spot is off. Being super anal I have been measuring it compared to the displayed distance. I would recommend halving what it says to be safe although it does tell you when it thinks you should stop which has not been wrong yet.
I...
Clean the windshield very well and keep it nice and clean. I did that and it stopped the issue.
It seems the camera may think dirt is rain. Crazy but it worked.
Normally charge only at home. However, if work started to require a lot of driving and had a charger I would use it, at their expense. If they didn't have one and wouldn't install one/pay for supercharging I would have to make a decision.
I had the issue of wipers turning on at random times when it is sunny. I have started making sure the windshield is nice and clean and have no had a recurrence. Even some dirt on the sides beyond the wipers could cause it I think,
Hope this helps.
Wow, I thought mine was damaged quickly. Had it a month and someone decided to drive around a truck instead of waiting for the light to change and went into into the oncoming lane to make her turn. I got nicked on the passenger front of my Model 3. Didn't look bad at all and the cost will be...
Pulled out this morning and got the light show. Auto close seems to be still a dream of MyQ and not the reality.
Since I got the problems I had resolved and paid for the year I have had no issues with it working so far. I can live with the slow close as long as it's working overall.
I had to use my wipers for the first time and ever since then I have had the "I'm turning on in the sun and you can't stop me" syndrome at random times. Thanks for the posts, I'll turn off auto and do as suggested.
You would think Tesla could get something this simple corrected.
My garage opener is an older model which doe not have MyQ built in. The hub acts as the intermediary between the garage door opener and the MyQ system. Like pairing the garage door to a new clicker which communicates with the MyQ app and Tesla. You install the Hub and a unit small on the garage...
Well, here is the (hopefully) end of the story.
I decided to move the wifi mesh system in my house to better cover the garage as the signal was not great, I then reinstalled the MyQ hub by deleting the device from my account and doing it all from scratch. I had already unlinked the MyQ account...
Well, I am not alone... Having issues and reset the MyQ itself. That didn't work so I unlinked it from the car and reset it. Now the car will not link at all. Called MyQ and they told me to call Tesla, a non starter.
If I try the factory reset does it undo all the settings I spent the last...
I paid the $45 and the very next day I had to re-link the system as it lost connection to the car. Once I did that the location services in my Tesla stopped working when I leave and come home so the automatic open/close didn't work. I can still open and close using the MyQ in the car though. May...
Just looked into it and it is $45 per year.
Now when I got home today, after having to repair my phone to MyQ last night, I tried to do the settings in my car and it will not allow me to do anything. So I cannot set up my base location or the options..... feh.. at a loss at this point
That makes Sense Caps, I have seen the same thing. Will change the proximity range tonight (closer) and see if that fixes it. I have also had the issue where when it went to close the garage the flashing starts and then I get an error. Only fixe was to repair the unit on the door to my phone...
Just got my new Tesla 3 (*does happy dance*) and noticed that Apple Music doesn't automatically start when I get in even though it was on when I left the car. Is this normal? Need to select audio every time.
