1. For iphone, use shortcuts app to turn off bluetooth when at work. For android, use IFTTT app to do the same. 2. Dont use phone as key. Either use key card, or keyfob for convenience.

i had this, spent days on google and found people having same problem, but nobody reported back that it went away. I went to SC, tech said other new cars have the same noise, it will go away with break in period. I’m at 1700 miles, randomly checked yesterday, noise gone, and hope it never comes back

Front dome trim could be painted matt black, rear dome can be wrapped. Would blend in very nicely!

I was mentioning the miles because the technician told me it would resolve with “breaking in period”… which in my case maybe true.

Updating everyone…now at 1700 miles, noise is completely gone. I hope it stays this way, will re-check randomly and update if anything changes.

Hi, so got a 1cm screw on the tire right by the wall, pulled it out, went to tire shop, they put the soap liquid (thick) and no bubbles. Said nothing to fix. Went home, used water and soap… and i see these tiny tiny bubbles coming out slowly. will check psi tomorrow, should i be concerned? Or...

same exact situation, few hundred miles later i noticed its getting considerably better. I wish those in the past post would’ve commented back if theirs went away, got fixed, or no fix and any long term consequence

so i took it to service, was told the groaning was normal with new front motor, as compared to other new model Ys on lot. Was told it’ll get better after break in period (unspecified miles). few hundred miles later, i tried to replicate this, only noticed very small groaning, definitely way...

bought it first thing this morning, would be a shame if i didnt check amazon or this thread. i honestly thought i was going to wait a while longer.

So i switch from hold to creep, and no more noise, and I also tried to apply brakes while on creep mode, turned wheel all the way and stop. Also no noise. Turn hold mode back. And noise is back. Let me know if you try that and has same result. I’ll bring it to service and will report back

since getting the VIN, tesla app asks to complete the next step: proof of insurance and make payment. I read that payment can wait until the delivery day, but if insurance proof not uploaded, will it delay delivery? Idk what date to put for insurance to start.

its Austin build. i believe being close to Fremont does not guarantee getting one from that factory,. there are some articles pointing some differences between austin vs fremont builds.

Agreed. If the cop deemed the other driver at fault officially (by statement letter) then there is not a big need for lawyer. Simply use the uninsured motorist portion, and let the insurance go after the other party.
