It's not too far behind :) It could have been worse too, the MOL ACE route map indicated it was going to stop in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane which would have added a significant delay. There are boats waiting almost a month to dock in Melbourne.

You should check out the NZ Model Y waiting room thread. @noom has done a good job figuring out which boat he's on. I'm pretty sure if you use the same shipping tracker he used you'll find your car is on the same boat. I think our build dates were the same and mine isn't on the Don Juan.

You're lucky your car was shipped on the Don Juan. My car left Shanghai a day earlier and is only just approaching the west coast of Australia.

Yeah, according to the MOL ACE website my car was picked up from Shanghai by the Swift Ace, then transferred to the Eternal Ace in Thailand. Everything going well it should arrive in Auckland on the 11th of March.

My car was apparently built on the 17th of Jan and my EDD is 9-30 March. Some people with build dates towards the end of Jan have much closer EDD's than I do. I think their cars are on a different boat that takes a much more direct route to NZ. I'm not super worried about a small delay to...

My Model Y will be on the Eternal Ace too. When you use the MOLACE website with your VIN it also gives you the booking number. If you switch from the VIN search to the booking number search you can see that there are about 300 Teslas on the boat.

I’m pretty relieved to see that it has the ultrasonic sensors … I’d definitely have that over a cargo cover.

When my VIN was finally assigned I decided to sign up to Vedaprime's tracking service. I definitely recommend it ... now I know which ship my car will be on 😢

Did you get an updated EDD? I'm in Wellington and my EDD is now 9 March - 30 March.

I haven’t received either of those message yet. The VIN says it’s a 2023 build so I doubt there will be any ultrasonic sensors 😢

I went for red with white interior.

It's happening! I just received an email from Tesla saying my MYP vehicle has been assigned. I'm based in NZ but hopefully people waiting in AU will get their VINs soon.
