    The Gemini cover doesn't protect the rim fully, unfortunately your damage looks like it is on the rim itself not the cover.

    Sure. With how much I drive (>35,000 miles) each year I’d rather have peace of mind that the tire will be replaced no matter what. Also not the first time I have had something in the sidewall.

    Had this happen to my other car. Unfortunately had to replace the tire. Got warranty on the new tire that protects against sidewall damage.

    I was worried about this as well but they paid me exactly what the offer was in the app. The only thing they looked at was the odometer, nothing else. Car condition was average to below average in most areas.
