Took delivery of my Model Y last night! OD was 1/16. Very impressed with the quality. No major issues that I noticed. Overall fit and finish is WAY better than my 2019 Model 3. The blue and white color combination looks great in person.

Agreed. I don't think it's completely true. Maybe order position by specific service center? When my VIN was assigned my first thought was either existing inventory or a previously rejected car due to how late my original order date was. I asked the SA and they said it was manufactured this month.

Just found this thread. I unexpectedly got my VIN assigned this past weekend. Blue/white 5 seater. All stock otherwise. OD: 1/16 EDD: 2/8 - 3/15 VIN assigned 1/28; EDD updated to 1/29-2/12. Delivery scheduled for 2/4 Still not sure how I got my VIN so soon, considering my order date.

First time poster… I’ve been lurking after placing an order on 1/16. Feeling very lucky to have just received my VIN! Picking up from Indianapolis. MYLR 5 seater, blue with white interior. All stock otherwise. Original EDD was 2/8-3/15. When VIN was assigned it just moved up to 1/28-2/6.
