It depends on how long you plan to keep the vehicle, how much do you value induction wheels, and whether owning a repaired car is going to bother you. Me personally, it seems like a lot of hassle and $ to go through to end up with the same car.

Ordered 1/27 at $53490 W/W 19” EDD is is April to June. Order was revised to reflect the current price of $52990. If the price goes up before the vehicle is delivered, will price be revised to the lower of $53490 or the latest price OR does it keep the $52990?

Went to ask an SA at the Tesla location to move the car I purchased from inventory, with VIN assigned and delivery scheduled for 3/27 to the original order from 1/27. She changed the config and released the vehicle. So had to cancel the order…They put in a request to transfer my $250 deposit...

Anyone successful with securing an inventory vehicle by transferring it to an existing reservation in order to keep the reduced price from January? Not having any luck with SA.

It can take up to several days for EDD to update based on config changes.

It feels like most of the W/W are Austin built. Anyone who recently got a VIN or delivery got a Fremont Built?

Sad part is…They are going to just re-assign this to the next person until it gets to someone who isn’t aware of what to check. If you’re worried about the tax credit, I would reject it.

Since you were considering to cancel, I would at least try that. Reports seem to indicate people’s delivery dates moving up, considerably in some cases.

I am confused. How come Tesla had you cancel your order. You could’ve just changed your configuration online and gotten the lower MYP pricing.

Curious…Did you buy the car without test driving it? Or did this become an issue after owning for long period of time? I test drove it and it seems find, but wonder if it’ll hit different after having for a year.

How long after completing the order details (I.e. registration) did it take for the EDD to go from the February-March to the more specific date? I’ve been waiting for 3 days now and it hasn’t changed. OD: 1/28 EDD: February-March Maryland
