    Fog Light Wiring Harness

Understood, but that means I can only activate the fog lights when turning on the parking light, which I can't when the regular headlights are on, no?

    Has the M3P ruined me?

Interesting subject. Traded my Porsche 981 for the Tesla Model 3 RWD and was very impressed, and still am but the experience is just totally different. Drives great, love the instant torque, but can't really compete with the smiles per mile of the Porsche. It's our go to shopping/airport/trips...

2023 Model 3 Standard range RWD have comfort suspension?

I just took delivery of a 2023 Model 3 RWD. Can't tell you anything about the suspension other than my Porsche 981 was harder ;) I do have the matrix headlight.

Anybody come from a sports car to Tesla?

Well, let's start to call them by the correct name "Porsche" and not Porche after spending 100k miles in them, shall we? :p

Anybody come from a sports car to Tesla?

Indeed, the Emira is Lotus' last IC driven sportscar before switching everything to EV. I have test driven the Porsche Taycan, it drives just like you would expect from a Porsche, but as a sportscar, the 4 doors do not make my list, and the charging network is just too limited at this point.

Anybody come from a sports car to Tesla?

Indeed, by now it's probably been two years. I placed my order in August 2021, and might get the first edition by September I was told...we will see as it has been delayed several times already. In the meantime, I might just wait for the new Porsche Cyamen in 2025 which will be all-electric as...

Took delivery, got Cruise Control not available after 60 miles driving to calibrate [resolved]

All good, worked perfectly fine right after the software update, It's really more a computer and software than a car manufacturer...

Took delivery, got Cruise Control not available after 60 miles driving to calibrate [resolved]

Hi, So happy to pick up our new Model 3 RWD, and first EV ever. Unfortunately, the happiness only lasted 1/2 hr to find out that Cruis Control isn't working, just getting the message "Cruise Control not available". I had enabled all settings, accepted all disclaimers, waited for all cameras to...

    Fog Light Wiring Harness

hmmm, that's technically not really fog lights but rather daytime running lights, no? Or is there a separate button available no to activate the fog lights when it's foggy? What am I missing?

Anybody come from a sports car to Tesla?

Interestingly, I am actually trading in my Porsche 981 S tomorrow when picking up my Model 3 RWD. For different reasons though, the market is still rather high, and getting a good trade-in price and waiting for my replacement sports car to arrive later this year (Lotus Emira). The Tesla is...

Wall charger [should I keep the wall connector or use mobile connector for my situation?]

Interestingly, on Tesla's website, it says the 2023 Model 3 RWD is limited to 32A, no matter what charger is connected as the internal AC/DC converter has only 2x 16A boards and not 3x as with the other models....am I mistaken and could charge higher, in which case a wall charger would make...

Wall charger [should I keep the wall connector or use mobile connector for my situation?]

Correct, my wife uses the kiln maybe once or every other month, so there is no constant re-connecting required. It's a fairly large kiln and she collects work pieces for a while before they are fired and glazed.

Wall charger [should I keep the wall connector or use mobile connector for my situation?]

It is already a Hubble NEMA 14-50 and I can't remove the outlet, otherwise my wife her kiln would not have anywhere to plug into if needed. I would have not hardwired the wall mount but thought about adding a pigtail to the charger and plugging it into the 14-50, to charge at 40A. Valid point...

Wall charger [should I keep the wall connector or use mobile connector for my situation?]

I already installed a NEMA 14-50 from Hubble a couple of years ago when the original cheap outlet that was installed when we build the home started to show some signs of overheating.

Wall charger [should I keep the wall connector or use mobile connector for my situation?]

Thank you Sir, sounds like the confirmation I was looking for. If there is no other advantage of having the wall charger in my cisrcumstances, another mobile unit will be suffciant.

Wall charger [should I keep the wall connector or use mobile connector for my situation?]

Well, I actually bought one mobile charger that stays in the car, just contemplating a wall charger or plug for the home. I'm aware it's only a 200.- difference but wondering if there is absolutely no advantage, then why waste 200.- if there is no other advantage?

Wall charger [should I keep the wall connector or use mobile connector for my situation?]

Hi, Thomas here from Texas with my first post, waiting for our first EV to arrive coming Monday, a Standard Model 3. It was recommended to purchase the wall charger to take advantage of the 48A charging possibility. However, after receiving the wall charger, it is clear the Standard M3 can only...
