FYI I ordered two MYP white/white the second order arrives 3/17 . I picked up the first one yesterday. I am about to cancel the 2nd order so that will probably show up in inventory soon.

I have not seen this raised on the forum so asking - but I am planning to pick my car up tomorrow. Tesla just asked for the remaining balance outside of the Tesla loan. I am skeptical to give then thousands of dollars when I have not seen the car. Is it just me?

Update, got Vin’s for both orders. The first order has a scheduled pickup date of 3/10.

Just scheduled delivery for 3/10. OD 1/26 Charlotte, NC. Kind of surprised it’s scheduled so far out. My EDD was 3/3-3/12

Nope and got my vin on 2/21

I have a second order with OD of 2/3 and got my ‘Vin coming’ message yesterday. EDD not changed at 3/9-3/31.

Probably driven allot by location - I got Vin on 2/21 and EDD 3/3-3/12. I am in Charlotte, NC so its a long trip coast to coast

I just got a text saying get ready as vin will come in 1-2 weeks - so there is hope

I just got the same thing but the app has no change to the EDD.

I ordered 1/26, switched to MYP on 2/12 and on 2/13 it pushed EDD to April/May. Now I hope it’s a lag on my MYLR vs the MYP date but we will see in the next few days

Don’t know - I have read that Tesla cancels your order if you not located in region. Also read something about logistics of having cars shipped all over. However agree other car dealers make it happen so why not Tesla. Others probably know more than me.

Actually “This car can only be registered in IN, KY, MI, OH, WV” I am NC so just keep on waiting.

So I had MYLR order placed 1/26. I received a 3/20-3/31 EDD for the longest time with no change. Over the weekend I decided to see if change to a MYP it would move me up as a friend did this a few days earlier and they just got their VIN a week after changing to a MYP. My logic is when they started processing these the cap was $55k - so they made these cars for a market that shifted on them during production.

Same here - my current daily driver is a 1999 LC100. Also makes for good savings in the gas savings calculation on the Tesla website! However the Y can’t do what the LC can do so that can go on weekend duty only after the Y comes in.
