My 2016 Silverado has the backup camera mounted above the tailgate release handle. If the tailgate is down and the truck is in reverse, the driveway is the only view. Just the nature of the tailgate mounted camera... good view when the gate is up and obstructed when the gate is down.

Visited the Cybertruck in Charlotte, NC Tesla Center. Truck looks great. It is still roped off and employees say they are not allowed to open the doors so we could get an inside view. Wish I could afford it!

Really disappointed. My plan was to sell my 2023 MY and my 2016 Silverado and purchase the Cybertruck. 4WD is a must but 80K plus tax is making a purchase out of reach. We can always dream that prices will drop and Federal tax incentives will increase but that seems pretty unrealistic.

If you can get the wheel off the vehicle, letting the air out of the tire helps reduce the effort to install a plug. I've not had good luck trying to get a plug in with the wheel still on the vehicle.

It sure can be random. I average 15K miles a year and went 20 some years without a blowout and then had 2 within a month. I did pick up a few random nails over the years but the plug kits fixed them up.

My upgrade went directly from 2023.2.12 to 2023.6.9 Haven't had time to explore it much yet.

Guess these updates don't always make sense. My 2023 MYLR got an update around 5 days after taking delivery in early Feb. No word on the parking assist update yet. I just changed my vehicle to allow advanced updates today.
