Not meaning to get into semantics but what do most people mean when talking about "starting" their MY? I usually just get into my vehicle, put it in drive and go. If it is really cold, I hit the HVAC button on my app a few minutes before I get in and the HVAC warms the cabin. Since my MYLR is ready to go as long as it is charged the only starting I do is select drive. So how do you "start" your vehicle?

The act of stepping on the brake and shifting into drive is "starting the car and going". the only part thats missing is the button press / key turn from a traditional vehicle.

Some people would say your car starts when you open the door and the touchscreen comes on, others would say pressing the brake is starting the car. It really makes no difference, starting the car is more of an ICE car concept.

The car is not ready/available to drive until you tap the brake. I see that as starting and then you select which way you want to go. ICE cars 'wake up' when you open the doors as well.
Sometimes it is difficult or inappropriate to use the same terms for ICE vehicles and EV's. As I read through the threads in this forum I run across posts where people talk about starting their car. It just seems a little strange to me since I don't really start my EV, I just put it in gear and go.
