If you want better range on myp with 19” geminis, do not use AS performance tires, those tires are sticky, you wont see much difference between 19” and 21” AS tires

It seems 4D1 motor is becoming universal. Most likely 4D1 is cheapest to produce out of all the motors available currently

That looks like touch up paint. Car possibly damaged post-production and they caught it during pre-delivery and did touch up paint

Yep stealth mode was the way to go back then. But if we check MYPs from 2022, i bet we will still see bunch of 3D1s in LRs. The data points on this thread is only from late quarter 2022 and ip to now

Tesla has always been installing performance motors in LR, just never made it official. Back in the day LR stealth mode was an option but now it is being provided at no extra cost with software lock

Picked up MYP today, PF709, 3/7 build. I didnt win the tesla lottery, there’s a big panel gap by the trunk where I could get my index finger through and very noticeable yellow tint on the white rear bumper paint. Other than that everything else went well

Just believe that the quality is good and delivery will go smoothly! Dont sweat the small defects that can be addressed at the SC! Unless you can fit your pinky into panel gaps, let them fix them for you and take delivery! And enjoy your car! Congrats!

Dang.., truly the best bang for the buck is MYLR getting performance motors. No need to get MYP unless you want the big wheels

Mine is 709.., it seems late Feb and Mar MYP builds are getting 3D1 and probably all the 3D1s they been putting in LRs are now shifted to MYPs

Yes, they all had F at the 8th digit. All were performance models with 21” uberturbine wheels with red break calipers

Also, the LRs from Austin are most likely getting the 3D5 wire winding motors. Currently, all MYPs from Fremont are receiving the updated 4D1 hairpin motor. I'm sure you'll be able to get delivery before March. For $3500 more, you keep your MYP, performance upgrade and the latest hairpin motor.
