    So… Highland is out…

Late to the party here…. The one downfall to the Y in my opinion is the lack of ventilated seats. This is a huge win for hot climates and longer drives for the M3.

Bent 21” Uberturbine / Caused Flat… quick question

Agreed. This situation could have been avoided with decent sidewall to protect the rim but at the same time the force might have landed on the underside of the car or suspension components instead of the underside of the rim so who knows!

Bent 21” Uberturbine / Caused Flat… quick question

Very reassuring. I just went ahead and placed a Tire Rack order. My tires only have 3500 miles on them so this set, and the single new tire, will be on the car for a while (hopefully) so I’d rather not worry. I appreciate the input!

Bent 21” Uberturbine / Caused Flat… quick question

Good to know the wheel should be fine. I’m torn as to whether to order a $450 rear tire (Tire Rack) but I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry considering I was cruising on this flat tire for a few miles at 55 mph and the integrity of the tire worries me now. If this wasn’t a performance...

Bent 21” Uberturbine / Caused Flat… quick question

My lovely wife was driving my MYP and got a bit too close to the edge of a road with a drop off and the right rear wheel literally fell off the road and in the process smashed the wheel/tire pretty good. It felt like a massive massive pot hole. Immediate inspection things seemed fine but a few...

    What is this spinning Icon?

I’ve been getting this spinning icon in most drives as of the last week or so. I’m going to try to connect to my phone’s hot spot to see if it’s the car cellular or not. New-ish to Tesla as I received my car in late April but it seems software glitches are prevalent!

Comfort Suspension Not Much of an Improvement

Late to the party here but yes, lower tire pressure has some drawbacks. I saw a myth busters review of tire pressure and fuel economy (prior to EV’s being a big thing) and you’ll take a small hit on range with lower pressure. That said, if you want much better range add some PSI! Control, 35psi...

[Feature request] Model Y Performance 0-60 in 2.99s? How much $$$$ will you pay?

If 3.5 seconds 0-60 for under $60k isn’t good enough then you’re crazy. I was tempted to get a BMW X4 M for a lot more $$ for similar performance so to me I’m absolutely happy with the performance fkr the price. More would be fun but I’d be dead.

Delivery Appt Canceled Today - 12v Battery Dead!

Good to know. I'm also leasing the vehicle so even if it were a lemon or a real pain in the arse long term, I can rest easy knowing I'm not going to have to figure out how to resell it. Hoping they can get this ironed out quickly though as it's a bit frustrating knowing my brand new car is...

Delivery Appt Canceled Today - 12v Battery Dead!

Hey everyone, My new MYP finally arrived and I was scheduled to pick it up today only to get a call 3 hours before the appt saying the 12v battery on the car seems to be dead and they were going to quickly replace the battery and try to still get me the vehicle today. Well... two hours later...

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

The good news is you didn’t buy a model S or X that will plummet 50% ($50k) in 3 years! It’s those super pricey Tesla models that will be taking a beating in terms of total dollars. You’ll do alright with the cheapest model.

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Very true! I won’t personally be under water but Tesla sure won’t be either with the Mo they payment we lessees make!

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Smart move for sure. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, etc, have vehicles that are priced WAY above I don’t think they can be too concerned about customers that have already purchased. They need to continuously sell hundreds of thousands / millions of cars in order to keep shareholders happy. At the end of...

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Agreed! I am somewhat jealous I didn’t finance/buy but at the same time I enjoy having one leased car and one owned car to keep it fresh every 3 years without the worry of the trade in. All around win for us all though. Elon and team are going to really put the pressure on the completion such...

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

I see a negative $48 in my account so it looks like they are refunding the difference in the first month and it looks like they will also lower the monthly payments by $48! Woohooo! Apparently I just jumped the gun a bit too soon after receiving the email.

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Hi everyone, I am leasing a Model Y performance and literally just paid my down payment yesterday only to get an email 12 hours later for a hefty $5k price drop this am! I assume since I already paid my down payment my monthly payment in the mobile app is locked and doesn’t seem to have been...
