    Plaid Sport Bucket Seats

Like others, I am not a fan of the side bolstering on the current MSP seats. I suspect the support on these will be better, and I would love to sit in one just to try it out. Joe

Why Did Tesla Revert Back to Location-Based Smart Air Suspension Being the Default Each Time?

That’s odd. Mine asks me every time I raise the suspension if I want to raise it every time at this location. I wonder why it is different for you guys. Joe

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

Oh… if we are doing stick tests, can you also do a stick test on my roosters. They keep on trying to attack me when my back is to them, and my “Stick Test” isn’t working! Joe

Is the glass distortion still a problem for ‘24 model

I just noticed this comment. Statistics is how I make my living, and this is not statistics, descriptive OR inferential. This is anecdotal speculation. This isn’t to say that an absolutely perfect piece of Tesla glass cannot be produced; it is just extremely unlikely. Joe

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

How so? I ordered the exact same size as the Goodyears that come with the track pack. T2 doesn’t impact physical size, does it? Joe

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

Speaking of tires and wheels, I have noticed that the track pack sized PS4S tires on the track pack wheels throws MUCH more debris on the rear doors, front rocker, and panel behind the rear tires. I am a bit worried that I may need more PPF. Joe

First Drive with a Steering Wheel on a Model S

While I love my yoke, I think that there is a valid argument to be made that a steering wheel is safer from a couple of perspectives. First, there are more locations to grip a wheel than there are to grip a yoke. Second, the torque placed on a steering wheel to turn the vehicle is completely...

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

What software version is everybody on? Once I received my Track Package, my software version changed to 2023.44.30.8. I assume that the Track Package is a special branch of the standard software version (or versions). I wonder how often we will see updates. Joe

    FSD Beta v11.x

I am on the Track Package version of this software release, and I have little hope of ever getting off of it. Software Engineer 1: Your Kingship, it is 2036 now, do you think we can upgrade the Model S Plaid people who have the Track Package now? King Muskedine: Let them wait, they were...

    FSD Beta v11.x

v12.69 (or is it 69.12; I am so confused about version numbers these days) is the version that @PACEMD wants, because it will not tell his wife about his penchant for certain ahem… positions.

New Model S Plaid steering wheel led lights flicker when steering wheel heater on

Is the glass distortion still a problem for ‘24 model

My 2023 Model S Plaid has distortions, and the 2024 Model S I drove also had distortion. Knowing how glass is formed, I doubt anyone has a Model S without distortion. Remember, this glass is produced on an assembly line likely using the same tooling for all the refresh Model S vehicles, and...

2021 234 Mile Tesla Model S Plaid at Auction

@all, There is a 234 mile 2021 Tesla Model S Plaid for sale on bring a trailer. This will be an interesting auction to watch, since there are some significant questions regarding the resale value of a Tesla Model S Plaid. This said, this Plaid is an outlier with only 234 miles, so the auction...

First Drive with a Steering Wheel on a Model S

I am far too OCD to leave my yoke turned upside down when I park. LOL. I do not have any problems getting in or out with the yoke in the wheels straight ahead position, but I use the easy entry setting to automatically move the yoke up and away from the seat when I get in or out. Joe

New Model S Plaid steering wheel led lights flicker when steering wheel heater on

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

I have had the exact same thought, but I will likely do the work myself if I can. In my opinion, the parts removed from the plaid are not sufficiently valuable for me to sell them, so I will find a storage spot in my garage attic and hang on to them in case I need to put them back on.
