Model 3 DIY Light kits: Review and installation tips, with pics

I didn't realize until after I purchased the Model 3 RWD that the footwell lights were deactivated. I like your solution and love the blue lights. Are there instructions on how to do this modification?

Has anyone heard of a Tesla being rear ended because of phantom braking?

We were not near an exit but we were cresting a hill driving into the direction of the sun. I wonder if the angle of the sun confused the camera. Maybe the algorithm interpreted the sun as an oncoming headlight or an obstruction... I don't know.

Has anyone heard of a Tesla being rear ended because of phantom braking?

I got my Model 3 RWD two weeks ago and was showing it off to a friend. He was driving, turned on autopilot, and then on a wide open highway on a sunny day the car decided to hard brake from 70 mph to 45 mph. While it did not put us in danger because there was no one else on the highway, it...

    Phantom Braking Solved

I seriously considered an Ioniq 5, test drove it three times, but because it does not qualify for the federal tax rebate it just didn't make sense. An Ioniq SEL RWD costs $49K where a Model 3 RWD costs $43K - $7500 = $35,500. It didn't help that my husband thinks the Ioniq interior looks like a...

Social Media and Posts on here starting to give me anxiety.

PPF on front bumper, headlights and rocker panels was $900. I've never had PPF put on a car before but this is by far the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased, plus flat front bumper of a white Model 3 is like an insect display box.

Social Media and Posts on here starting to give me anxiety.

I ordered floor mats in advance and brought them to the dealership. The day after I got the car I took it in to have PPF put on the front bumper and rocker panels and the entire vehicle color corrected and ceramic coated. I've bought a few interior accessories to lean into the satin white...

Social Media and Posts on here starting to give me anxiety.

The weather did not cooperate, as it was pouring rain. The Tesla staff were courteous and efficient. There were just a few forms to sign. I noticed in some YouTube videos that some customers walked through a parking lot and looked for their name on the dashboard but my car was pulled up front. I...

Social Media and Posts on here starting to give me anxiety.

I'm picking up my first Telsa in two days. Other than watching YouTube, I'm not on social media. From reading forums and comments, I've learned I need to closely inspect the vehicle and record any issues. From what I have seen in photos and videos, some people point out panel gap issues that I...

PPF & Ceramic coating is it worth

My first post on this forum. I am taking delivery of a white Model 3 RWD on 03/26. I scheduled PPF to be installed on the front bumper, ceramic coating on the body and wheels, and protectant on the white leather seats. I am replacing my 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder, which I kept in pristine condition...
