    Mobile Connector Keeps Tripping GFCI

Same issue with my Y LR. Sometimes it charges until it's full. Sometimes it trips within 10% of charging. Sometimes it trips after charging 40%. I just left at work charging yesterday and it tripped after 7%. My understanding is what the other comment said. The charger will leak a micro amount...

Dirt Roads and Salt Brine: Rusted 2 Y.O. Model Y Rear Brake Lines in New Hampshire

I'm gonna go ahead and buy that fluid film and apply next week. Might as well get ahead of it. Thanks for sharing your story. Keep us posted of any new development. Thanks!!

Dirt Roads and Salt Brine: Rusted 2 Y.O. Model Y Rear Brake Lines in New Hampshire

Wow! The reason I came looking for it is BC I was in the process of rotating my wheels last week, and I noticed that lip! I also noticed sand sitting there too!, even though I had JUST washed the car the day before and physically sprayed behind the wheel myself (apparently not a good job)...

20 Amp GFCI trips with mobile connector.

No other EV, except Teslas, was meant to say that for that same 20amp GFCI outlet, only the Tesla mobile chargers are tripping the outlet. No other EV brand is tripping the outlet, and that includes hybrid plug ins as well. I do not know how much those EV's are drawing. I have personally tried...

20 Amp GFCI trips with mobile connector.

Has anyone given an "official" reason why Tesla chargers will trip some GFCI? I park at a place where no other EV will trip the outlet, except Teslas. It is becoming extremely annoying and unreliable. Thanks

    Sentry mode/Battery depletion

That Yes, I completely understand that regarding the Sentry mode. I, though, was not aware of the alarm system, but I had not thought of that either. I figured it would be nearly impossible to steal a Tesla. Thanks for your feedback.

    Mobile charger

A 12 amps circuit would most likely be the case when using a 15 amp breaker. It would be impossible to draw 16 continuous amp on a 12 rated circuit. Plus, some chargers have built in sensors that detect the amp rating automatically. The charger I originally bought had that function.

    Sentry mode/Battery depletion

I've been trying to leave the Sentry mode on sometimes at work to see how it works (still learning the car), and I've noticed a battery drop of about 1% for every "say 6/8 hours"(again, still learning and tracking power usage). That being said, if you technically leave it on every day, all day...

    Mobile charger

Oh wow! This is great info!! I appreciate sharing the link for it! Too bad Tesla doesn't include the 5-20 pigtail with the original pack, as well as a small little plug adapter. I guess "creating revenue" is also a must!! Thanks again

    Mobile charger

Hello everyone, Just tried my Tesla mobile charger 5-15 plug and have been getting a consistent 12A for charging. Has anyone experienced 16A when charging with the 5-15 (110v) plug? I recently tried a parallel brand charger made for J1772 vehicles with my adapter, and I was getting 16A on that...
