Sensor alert is wrong. Frunk is securely closed. Can’t use auto drive or cruise. Alarm won’t stop blaring and I can’t turn it off. I tried PB blaster to see if assembly was stuck, no dice. I opened and closed multiple times. I rebooted car from service screen multiple times. Any ideas? TIA T

I have a code required to start the car. Annoying BUT I feel safer.

Go to Tesla right away and have that key removed. Or purchase a new key and that will force them to recode all your keys.

As long as my butt is in the driver’s seat, I feel we don’t need nag devices. Tesla is trying to run their cars as taxis. Why do driverless taxis get more respect than drivers who have purchased top of the line vehicles.

If they serviced and this failed I would report this issue as a dangerous failure to NTSB re.: possible recall issue

Are you kidding? Can’t even use FSD without nagware keeping track of your eye motion on newer MX. As far as I’m concerned, as long as the weight of a person’s butt is in the driver’s seat, the FSD should function.

Over time my kids grew up. Now one’s in college and the other applying. I thought they would grow out of needing the lateral head support BUT this weekend on a long trip they fell asleep as did my wife. They all slid sideways and I think they all need lateral neck headrests AND drool guards.

Tesla had just started offering 5 seaters before I purchased my MX legacy. Makes life amazing, from shopping to transporting big things like furniture, to camping. See if you can retrofit.

Any way to take a crashed MX and move the heat pump to a legacy 2017 P100D? I’m not looking to trade in my 60,000 mile AWESOME MX anytime soon. I’d like the improved efficiency in Winter of the heat pumps if possible. If not possible I’ll live with it.

My 2017 P100D five seater with all options and T-sportline 19” wheels and Winter kit reads less than 300 driving 12 miles combined highway and city to and from my office without a/c or heat. Reads 310 mostly highway over 30 miles to other location.

My 2017 P100D with air suspension got 40,000 miles on its 22” tires. They still have useable tread. I still have the tires if anyone wished to see proof. Just come visit in NYC.

My 2017 P100D has all options including cold package and FSD and FUSC and ventilated seats and all upgrades and is a five seater. I just got the infotainment upgrade and the FSD computer installed. I think there are a few unicorns out there still.
