Has anyone had the Ludicrous upgrade?

Just got the Ludicrous upgrade done. The main difference I have felt in day to day driving is that the car seems hair trigger responsive just with regular driving situations. There is a sense of much more torque being immediately available, to the point where I have dropped it into Sports mode...

    White vs Pearl White

I agree with Wattup. It does impart a sense of luxury up close, and in softer light (like evening). From a distance, no visible difference at all.

I pick up my car on Friday - Yay

Congratulations! Know exactly what you mean having just taken delivery of my P85D recently. Got a few screams and/or exclamations of surprise from friends when launching!

Spotted in Australia and New Zealand

It sure does, ICUDoc! Very capable handling characteristics from what is a large car. Interesting comparing this to the P85 I test drove in Sydney, which I found to be a bit squirmy coming out of corners with the power on. The clever torque spread to the front motor allows me to get on the power...

Thanks LGGD - and while learning about the dimensions of the car, that is how far I park from the kerb :)

What car will you be coming from?

Will be going from an Audi A6 bi-turbo diesel 2013 which combines great performance with reasonable economy, to a P85D, which will take it several levels up.

    Tesla in Australia

Saw this comment on the Tesla corporate blog, so there is hope yet ... kunigi 5:16PM | OCT 10, 2014 I think forums is down to give bandwidth to people placing orders. I had a December delivery of a 85 and switched to a 85D. I called Tesla headquarters. I had to enter in a new order and select...

    Tesla in Australia

The same - "entered the production queue". So no build date yet, when speaking with Linda Han earlier this week, she indicated build would occur around 5 weeks from now.
