Got to finally take delivery today! Car was flawless, and I couldn’t be happier

Finally got to go through with delivery day, so I’m officially a Tesla owner! Delivery process was super smooth, car was flawless. I couldn’t be happier!

One step closer; texted to find out if there were any updates, and was told the body shop would be done with the car in the morning, so I get to pick it up after work! Finally getting my delivery day!

Touched base with the service centre to see if there was any update, and sounds like my vehicle will finally be ready to go tomorrow! Delivery now set for May 31!

I was, but seems okay now.

Received update from the body shop, they're estimating mid next week to be done. Hopefully this means there's finally an end in sight for all of this. I guess one silver lining, that should mean I have everything in place when I do finally get my hands on the vehicle, as I've got an electrician...

Welp, another transport delay for mine. Originally booked for May 20, then May 23, now moved to May 25. Was told the truck broke down in northern Nevada. Guess we’ll see if Thursday holds.

Awwww damn, sorry to hear that. At least when mine happened, it was the day after I'd originally made the appointment, so it didn't quite sting as much! That's rough getting that call the day before.

I only officially got my VIN on Tuesday this week

Just got a call from the local SC. Truck isn't going to make it on time for my Saturday delivery, so I've now been pushed back to Tuesday, May 23. Way to kill the weekend 😂

Website says: Any amount due is to be paid by bank draft/certified cheque made out to Tesla Motors Canada ULC or by wire transfer with a wire receipt.

Mine is showing up as Fremont too, but no official message assigning the VIN just yet. I'm not sure if the actual scheduling of delivery email comes from the service center as opposed to a central Tesla system - if that's the case, I guess I'll be waiting at least until tomorrow since the SC...

Got the Tesla Vision disclaimer, EDD updated to May 19-24 now. Also seeing a VIN in the source code, but not officially assigned yet.

Yup, mine too. The beginning date of the window keeps updating, but the end date stays the same. I’ve been holding on a (insert todays date) to May 21 since the weekend now

For me, it took about 5 weeks to get my initial EDD update, and it seemed to be at a completely random point in the day. Now that I’m within the window provided, the date has been updating daily around 8 am for me, but I don’t know that there’s any set time for updates to happen.

The slight updates continue. Glad to see that date of May 21 not pushing out any further. Hopefully that means a VIN is imminent.

Officially into my delivery window. Tried reaching out via text, but was just told they’ll update me as soon as a vehicle becomes available. Figured it’d be what I got, but worth a shot!

From what I understand, 15 is just kind of a default they put down at the time - almost like a placeholder until delivery actually happens.

That May 6 - 20 window is the same as what I've got still. Holding out hope as it's inching closer to the start of it!

No VIN yet for me either - really trying to keep excitement levels low until I do have one!

Awww damn, still no update for yours? I'm still trying to not put too much stock in it (though it's hard since the start of that window is only a few days away), just because I've seen so many with multiple EDD's.

Ooooh. Seems to be a whole lot of the Blue/Black build that are getting dates in that mid-May range, so maybe there actually is an influx of them on the way?!

From my very first 'estimated' trade-in value (submitting general information without the photos), my offer has gone up $900 in total. Initial estimate just based on make/model/odometer was $8400. After uploading photos, it jumped to $8700, and now is sitting at $9300.

My original trade-in offer expired yesterday, so resubmitted the odometer reading to resubmit - and the offer went up! Now to wait and see if that delivery window holds 🤞🤞

That’s super similar to mine! Maybe there’s an influx of blue/black combos on the way?!
