Main screen keeps locking up / blank

Well, the risk of removing it is now zero because they didn't remove it and I'll be seeing them this evening.

Main screen keeps locking up / blank

A known issue on hardware 4 or a known issue on all models? She got the update last night and it still did it again this morning. I can have her remove the USB drive altogether. I don't want to walk her through formatting it, maybe I can try that for them next time I see them.

Main screen keeps locking up / blank

Sorry if this has been addressed here, I searched around and could not find any posts about this issue. I have a 2023 M3 with Hardware 3 so I don't know anything about this. Have a friend (at least for now if she doesn't kill me over this) who recently took delivery of here 2024 Model Y LR with...

    Lost the Slacker App

@jjrandorin THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! That was it! I had no idea that was even in there. I thought that icon would only give me the EQ settings, I had no clue that there were source selections in there too. This totally fixed it for me and now I don't have to fiddle with my phone for...

    Lost the Slacker App

I did that and I have Spotify, Apple Music, Bluetooth, etc. but no Slacker.

    Lost the Slacker App

Somehow on my profile I've lost the Slacker app (the orange icon). When the wife uses her profile, it's there and it works perfectly. I get in on my profile and it's simply not there. I can't even get the car to start it by using voice commands. Any idea how to get that icon and service back on...

Rolled forward on its own in the garage?

It disengages the brake and reapplies it exactly the same way it was already applied. I got this direct from Tesla.

My 5+ years of "low maintenance" ownership

500 ci with 385 ft lbs of torque pulling 5300 lbs of car going to skinny tires, front wheel driven, with an 18 year old driver :)

Rolled forward on its own in the garage?

There is no extra parking brake. Those videos you might have seen saying that if you hold the P down until you hear it click again are wrong. The parking brake engages automatically.

My 5+ years of "low maintenance" ownership

Ignore the media when they say these cars are "heavier than normal cars and take special tires because of it", and "the infrastructure will have to be upgraded so bridges can handle the weight". I've seen all those stories, and they are a bunch of media hype and lies. I'm 57 and I've had my...

Supercharger not showing in app on phone or map

Well, it must have been correct because it's there now.

Supercharger not showing in app on phone or map

@swaltner We had that same thing happen recently. We were between Lampasas and Burnet (remember, we like to get off I35 and take the back way) and it started telling us to turn around and go back to Georgetown before going to Johnson City. We just soldiered on, and made it into Johnson City with...

Supercharger not showing in app on phone or map

Yesterday when I tried doing just that, it wouldn't find the Supercharger in Hamilton. That's what brought me here. I don't know if was an update to the app on my phone or they fixed something on the back end for the phone app, but it's showing there now. Yeah, I've had to do the same thing as...

Supercharger not showing in app on phone or map

Yeah, I don't do social media at all, so I don't get X notifications. Anyway, as long as it works in the car, we are good. This is a huge benefit to us to have it along that way. I35 is a horrible way to commute from central Texas to Dallas / Fort Worth, there are commonly large accidents that...

Supercharger not showing in app on phone or map

OK, so here's what I have now. If I route on the car from Johnson City, TX to Weatherford, TX, it works correctly and takes me through Hamilton. If I put the same route on the phone app, it takes me to Waco, TX first. At least the car side works now. I can deal with the Tesla phone app being...

Supercharger not showing in app on phone or map

That is so strange! I just looked last night and they were not there, but today they are! I guess they finally added them sometime last night or this morning. Going out now to see if the car shows them too.

Supercharger not showing in app on phone or map

TLDR: I can't figure out how to report this to Tesla. I go to Contact on their website, but it just takes me into FAQs with no real email to report this problem. We live out in the country, and for our drive to the Dallas / Fort Worth area, we must head east to I35 to go north through Waco...

    Work From Home Charging

Good to know, I didn't know. I never thought to try.

    Work From Home Charging

We are in a tiny town of only 1900 residents, but we have a Supercharger station. I think it's because we are just to the west of Austin and just to the north of San Antonio, and also because we are a tourist destination. I think we've used the Supercharger twice in 7,000 miles. Both times were...

Level 1 only charging at 6A

I'm not talking at the outlet, I'm talking about the 110v adapter in the mobile charger. I reset it in the charger and it's fine now. By the way, if anything I'm saying is confusing, we were up until after 3 AM last night. A friend of ours fell and broke her arm and we were at the hospital all...

    Work From Home Charging

For now we mostly charge on 110v since on a typical day the car will at the longest see 30 miles a day, but usually much less. We saw almost no bump on our bill, but here we pay $0.10 per kWh. I also work from home, my wife drives to work twice a week, 15 miles each way.

2023 M3 air conditioner using 70% of energy

We road tripped our 2023 M3 LFP over the weekend. We have been experiencing over 100 degree weather here, for example yesterday was 108. We noticed our range was way down. I forget what the efficiency scores were, but it was certainly using a lot more juice per mile than normal.

Level 1 only charging at 6A

@ewoodrick It's my fault. I accidentally put in Level 3 instead of Level 1. This is when charging on 110v. Wife got home just a bit ago and it started at 12a, then it went to Charging Stopped. I disconnected the car, pulled out the 110v adapter and plugged it back in firmly. Now it is charging...

Level 1 only charging at 6A

I don't mind the outlet since I have other stuff that can use the 14-50, including when my mom comes to visit in her little Class B Winnebago. Again, thanks, because now I have more to think about, the wall connector is tempting, I think I just needed someone to push me off the bridge. :)

Level 1 only charging at 6A

OOPS, I meant Level 1. That's a typo. I know it's level 1. I don't see an edit button but I'll keep trying. Car is set to full blast, the highest it will currently go (no pun intended) is 6a. When it has 12a available, then it will allow me to adjust further down, but right now it won't let me...

Level 1 only charging at 6A

Hello all, my first post and question here, so be nice :) We have just over 7,000 miles on our 2023 Model 3 Base, LFP, RWD. 99.9% of the time we charge at home on 110v. Typically, it will charge at 12a until it starts winding down toward completion to 6a. Recently, we are noticing it is only...
