    Regen braking reduced

Regarding regenerative braking in cold weather, if you use the setting that uses the disk brakes, do the disc brakes replace the available regen, or do they assist--take up the slack, so to speak?

    Spots on trim

I have 2023 midnight silver MY. The last time I washed and dried it, I found spots on the window trim. I did a pretty good job of removing water spots from the paint, but I haven’t had any luck with this metallic trim. They don’t seem to be simple water spots. I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

2023 Mod Y 3000 miles Creaking noise when turning

Thanks, I was hoping someone would say that. I know I probably sounded paranoid, but I’ve heard a few negative experiences, and I didn’t want to be one.

2023 Mod Y 3000 miles Creaking noise when turning

This just started yesterday. When turning left a loud creaking noise is coming from under the front end. It only does it when turning left, and it doesn't do it when stationary. It feels like something is loose. I submitted a service request and Tesla said it will be $160, and I am suppose to...

    “Doors Unlocked” message on app

At least once a week I get a “Doors Unlocked” notification on my iPhone app for 2023 MY, yet when I investigate, the mirrors are folded and doors locked. I haven’t seen this topic in the forums and am wondering if anyone else gets this glitch.

No headlights in heavy rain, seriously???

My Honda Civic could manage the complexities of turning on the lights shortly after the wipers come on. It baffles me that my new “computer that’s also a car” can’t. And then to see that this problem has persisted for quite some time leads me to wonder what the heck I’ve got myself into.

    Charge speed setting glitch?

As long as there isn’t a problem not having agreement between the charger at 40A and the car at 48A, it shouldn’t be a problem for me. I just don’t want to feel that I always have to check the app (or the screen) before I charge.

    Charge speed setting glitch?

Well, at least I’m not delusional 😁

    Charge speed setting glitch?

I did not know if the connector would limit the charge to 40A. If that’s the case. I’m not worried at all 😊

    Charge speed setting glitch?

Sorry if I left this out: it is a model Y.

    Charge speed setting glitch?

I am charging at home. I double checked the wall charger and it is set for 50amps. I have set the app before I go to bed to 40 A, it charges and doesn’t trip the breaker, yet when I look at the app in the morning it is back to 48A

    Charge speed setting glitch?

The choices on my connector ask for the breaker size — which is 50amps, so I checked the box marked 50amps.

    Charge speed setting glitch?

I have a 50 amp circuit feeding my Tesla wall connector which is set at 50 amps. I have set the speed on my new MY and the app to charge at 40amps. After my first overnight charge I noticed the app was showing 48 amps. I reset the charge to 40amps and went about my day. I wrote it off as a...
