    Outrageous body shop bill

Insuring my M3 is almost as expensive as insuring my Bonanza.

Brand new M3P rear-ended, question on possible damage

As a data point, the insurance appraiser put it in at $1149. It will be another month before it gets into the Tesla shop then we can see what it ends up being. I have a hard time believing the cost will be anywhere near this.

Brand new M3P rear-ended, question on possible damage

I asked the question of Tesla service and their reply was that there is always hidden damage and it will be discovered when the vehicle is disassembled. The insurance appraisers can only assess external damage then the shop will work with the insurer to deal with what cannot be seen from their...

Brand new M3P rear-ended, question on possible damage

Is there an event recorder which would log the severity of an impact?

Brand new M3P rear-ended, question on possible damage

I dealt with my insurance company because the impact tweaked my back, which has had past problems, and I was in a lot of pain so was brought by ambulance to the hospital to be evaluated. Fortunately that all turned out okay. Some muscle relaxants and I am fine, even a couple days later. For...

    M3 Rear-ended

I just joined the rear-ended club yesterday on my brand new M3P. Have appointment at the Boston Tesla shop in a couple of weeks. The car is fully driveable; do they want to keep the car for possibly months waiting on parts or do they let me bring it back when the parts arrive?

March 2023 Model 3 wait times

I say that as of today my EDD is shown as May 16 through June 13. If that's true that's not bad.

March 2023 Model 3 wait times

M3P blue, black interior. I ordered about 10 days ago, had my financing immediately approved, to trade-in. Delivery initially said April 2023 but changed to May 2023 when May 1st rolled by. No idea if it will be next week or next year. It would be really nice if Tesla let us know.
