My worry would be if they lower the price this year to make the 7 seater 80k then you’re going to see another 7,500 depreciation hit on top of that. It you go tax edition from the start you don’t run that risk.

When I took delivery of my model Y they didn’t announce the new hw4 they had just stared rolling out a week earlier, or the matrix headlights. They sometimes keep changes quiet until their existing inventory has a chance to sell.

They really need to hurry up and update the x and s.

My doubt is that a car that was delivered 3/9 would be built 3/5. That doesn’t seem to match up what others are seeing.

I highly doubt your car was built on March 5th. You should confirm the actual build date of your car before calling people out.

Whether they cancel now or the last moment before their deposit becomes non-refundable, I would bet the conversion rate of purchases ends up being maybe 10% or 200k vehicles. It’s easy for people to talk the talk until they go to get a loan at 8% and realize how expensive these have ended up being.

There is no good reason to buy one of these. Once they can actually mass produce them at the volume they want the price will probably drop 20k. They are just trying to milk money out of the people willing to pay.

with the 5 seater qualifying for the 7,500 rebate it’s sort of a no brainer unless you absolutely need more than 5 seats.

Seriously people acting like uprated motors cost 10k when Tesla has been known to throw higher spec motors in lower spec cars all the time. If it was that big of a cost difference that would never happen.

My guess is it will be the same differences the current m3p wound have over tbe LR plus slighter more aggressively bolstered seats and 670hp from 2 plaid motors.

Looking at the other seller that sells the CarPlay touch screen, it looks like it adds to the price over the original version. I honestly don’t see myself using CarPlay on that small screen so it doesn’t seem with getting to me.

Can you charge to 100% daily on standard range since it’s really not 100%? If so the loss or range is not as significant for daily use.

What’s the 3 digits following F or A in your vin toward the end? There is a link to a Reddit post toward the end of the April waiting room where someone who owns a bodyshop is looking up vins for people. He can tell your car specs from that including hw4 or 3. He looked up mine for me.
