Howd they go pricewise? I got a quote for the Y Performance, jumped up to $1600, $400 more then the LR .. but seen a demo performance under LCT as of July 1st... so very tempted to upgrade since won't be seeing anything this financial..

I got quotes in advance, shannons said to just call them on the day of pickup to lock it in. I've done same with previous purchases. But I'm not financing so can't comment on that..

Yes, good point on being taxed if selling above depreciated value. That's why it's important to choose the right method of depreciation that suits your situation

Sorry my math was out after Friday drinks... :) based of $86k purchase, 4 to 5 years using diminishing value method should get you down to same as current instant write off, if using prime cost it takes longer. Again, talk to accountant as to which suits best for you situation. I don't know how...

Only a guess, but morning cherry was in melb port at the time RAV entered. It's now left melb and on its way to briz. So maybe your car is at melb port and transporting out from there...?

Qld edd hasn't changed yet, but suspect it will shortly, RAV date same as yours, 5/6, expect Morning Cherry as the carrier... I only ordered in April, so can't complain about delays.... yet... :) But I feel for the guys here that have been delayed months from their original edd.

ACT edd changed overnight. RAV date 18/5, think Grand Eagle.., edd now 18/6 to 9/7

4000 Tesla's arrived on one ship last year. Sea transport is not an issue, our ports may be another story.... lol

No expectations is probably the smartest way to be when ordering a tesla, and lots of other items atm. With such a small market in Australia, you'd think that they would be able to manage demand better. They could do better with their estimate. Why even say edd June/July when can't deliver...

Congrat to all receiving in Briz, you've had a long wait! I didn't order in briz till mid April, edd 19th to 30th June. Have vin but not listed in RAV yet. So unless there's a ship coming straight into Bris shortly, I can't see me getting by June 30... :(
