I think that’ll look great! I do like the 50% windshield on mine.

I have same colors, but went with 20% on front sides and 50% windshield. With the white interior, it really does make the tint slightly lighter looking. FYI.

A couple of pics for reference with the white interior. I had the 20% SolarFX IRFX on the front side windows and just did 50% SolarFX FXPlus on the windshield. Depending on the light and angle, it's still fairly light on the outside, and not too obvious.

I should clarify and say that they did jump the 16V, but it did not come back on. The tow truck pulled the car up onto the flatbed.

I took delivery last month and they also asked for the signed loan agreement in addition to a copy of the check and tracking info. This was all done the Friday before 7/4 weekend so I can pick up on that Monday.

I should have asked while I was there! You should ask them next time you're there to pick up. They did mention the deliver about 30 cars per day there, so I would also think they polish these ASAP to get the deliveries out, which would lead to them overlooking quite a bit of fixable issues.

I took a gamble earlier this afternoon and decided to release my hold. Anyways, I got assigned another VIN, within an hour, from Austin that was built after my previous one. Sounds like it's still in transit because my EDD is 7/2-7/8, which should work out well for me.

Does anyone know if the tax credit is based on the agreement date from Tesla's MVPA or based on the date we take the delivery? Is there a separate document that Tesla provides us after we take delivery?

How were you able to get them to let you schedule for 7/1 instead of 6/30? I'm in the same boat, but my order is still on hold. They specifically told me to not release my hold until 7/1 to ensure I'm not forced to take delivery 6/30.

This crossed my mind after I already released my VIN. I totally should have just done that, especially if they were going to force me to release my VIN regardless.

Yea - I wish they would adhere to their own contracts. They absolutely refuse to delay it past their Q2. Only option was to release VIN and hope for the best July 1.

Update: After 30+ minutes on hold, they said I had no choice but to place my order on hold and get a new VIN on 7/1.

Just got my text to schedule for delivery today. My only option for delivery is 6/30. Now I'm stuck on hold to see if they can let me do 7/1, which is when the EV credits increase in CO.

I got pre-approved through USSFCU for 4.99%. I saw that they had a 0.25% discount for autopay from a USSFCU account. Does anyone know if the offered rate already factored in that discount, or will it be 0.25% lower once I finalized the loan and let them auto draft from that account?

EDD3 (6/26): 7/2 - 7/8. VIN assigned. Austin build. Hopefully it'll come 7/2 or after 7/8, as I'll be out of town 7/8.

I plan on at least PPF on the front bumper. Have heard that the paint on Teslas are softer and more prone to chips. Other than that, I will not be doing ceramic coating, as I would prefer to regularly wax/polish myself.

May I ask who you were leasing your trade in through?

If you applied for a Tesla loan, you can go to view the loan terms and scroll all the way down to the bottom. It'll show your trade in value; this was the same number that officially showed up as my quoted trade in value.

I had something similar and it showed the exact trade in value within a couple of days after that. When the trade in value is actually show, that is when they also show what equity I would have remaining after factoring in the payoff.

Looking to upgrade to an EV. The Tesla test drive went well, minus getting used to the regenerative braking. Plus the federal EV credit plus the $5k EV credit in CO made it an easy decision to purchase vs lease.
