I've noticed this taking a car out for a test drive and while it's a little annoying, I can see why they do it and would appreciate it if I were in the market for a demo vehicle.

Previous owner of our 2023 Model X Plaid kept not only the hitch but the dust cap that is supposed to keep the greased receiver clean when the hitch isn't in use. Replaced the hitch package but no such luck with the dust cap yet.

When we bought our Model X Plaid a month ago, I put my email address in for a notification when the wheel is available and haven't heard anything so I went and looked and you're right, the webpage is gone. Hoping for some news soon.

We just bought a gently used 2023 with 2,200 miles. Ultra Red with white seats and 20" wheels. Dealer didn't know when they took it in the week before we saw it and bought it that it also has FSD. For $97k, it was a no-brainer. Thank you for the ownership update.

I love the ability to open and close the doors but hat's exactly what I discovered when I took a look at the Controls view on the app away from home versus away from home. Still a cool feature. Love our Plaid Model X!

Were you ever able to get one? Same thing happened with our 2023 Model X Plaid and I'm sourcing the parts. I've found the tow package online a few different places but can't find the dust cap to cover the hitch receiver up inside the bumper when not in use. Any ideas where I can find that...

Your new Plaid X came with the "Towing Package", right? I was watching a video where someone was installing the hitch on their Model X and it shows the dust cap. I'd like something to keep that greasy area clean when I'm not running a hitch. Ugh. I'll keep looking around.
