From potential Tesla customer to buying put options

Sorry to dredge up an old thread. I want some advice on a personalized license plate. A small fraction of the profits from my put options will go toward a nice vehicle. I'd like the license plate to say "TSLA PUT" but in my jurisdiction license place are only 6 characters long. Any suggestions?

Almost July now. When is the final announcement?

Here's my prediction based solely on conjecture cynicism and experience: 1. Late July, announcement that the Model 3 release date will be delayed, blaming the delay on someone / something else 2. October-November, a handful of Model 3's delivered to Tesla employees to technically fulfill the...

From potential Tesla customer to buying put options

Sorry for the long and rambling thread. I just made my first foray into options trading, buying January 2019 put options on TSLA. Since I was previously highly positive on Tesla and was about to place an order for one a few years ago, I thought I would post the reasons why I think TSLA will...

Owning a Tesla in a remote small town: practicality of service issues

Thanks for the link. It's the "100 dollar minimum per vehicle per visit" on the service plan document, versus the "we'll charge you only $100 per visit" from the salesman that concerns me.

Owning a Tesla in a remote small town: practicality of service issues

Thanks for the replies. The consensus seems to agree with what the salespeople told me. However I'd still like something more definite from Tesla in writing before I cash in my retirement savings kids' education fund to by a Model S.

Owning a Tesla in a remote small town: practicality of service issues

I test drove a Tesla model S a few days ago and fell in love with it. Problem is, I live a 1500 km drive from the nearest Tesla service centre in Vancouver. I assumed it would be a no-go due to service and warrantee issues (the issues around lack of public chargers are not a concern to me as...
