I use Teslamate, also. I totally agree that it's not the easiest to setup and get working, you need to have some advanced technical knowledge. When it's working, it gives you a lot of info. I also use TeslamateAgile to apply my Time Of Use charges from my electric company.

It took about a month from the time I took delivery in late July to my first software update. Sometimes, you just have to wait. I don't think you'll lose out on the FSD, my clock didn't start until I got FSD.

I just installed the Lasfit on my 2023 MYLR. It took me about 15 to install all 4, it wasn't difficult. They look just like the Basenor and they cost a few bucks less on Amazon.

Thanks for asking about this because I had the same question. I took delivery of my MYLR on 7/24 and I still have 2023.12.400 (as of a few minutes ago when I checked).

I found the little mirror lights were helpful during the first week when I bought a Rav4. After that, I never really noticed them. Because the lights go on so often (every time a car was beside me), I ended up not really paying attention to them anymore. I don't miss them on my MYLR.

I'm also in Maryland. Can I ask how much this cost you? Did you end up getting the roof tinted, too?
