    Supercharger - West Seneca, NY

What about i190, somewhere just south of the Peace Bridge! That would be spectacular (for me at least lol).

Those look like V4 to me!! Would this be the first V4 in stall in the US? I will be in the area for the eclipse next month, I really hope it will be done, but that is just over 2 weeks away, so I doubt it.

I 100% agree with your analysis of the the law in WA. Its similar in other jurisdictions. To me, the key here is "knowingly" and that can be interpreted in different ways by the courts. Because of this, it is difficult to prosecute for trespassing and therefore the authorities are far more...

Lol. "looks like". Yeah, that will stand up in court. To me it looks like "deliveries in the back". I agree that you may not be "authorized" there and you shouldn't go there if you are not, but that does not mean you can be charged with trespassing. There is a huge difference.

    Supercharger - West Seneca, NY

That's just the thing. Its NOT posted. You don't have to prove anything, that's now how the law works. If there is no closed gate and security doesn't bother to stop you, its not trespassing.
  6. TheTinRam

    Supercharger - West Seneca, NY

You can't charge somebody with trespassing unless you ask them to leave and they refuse. This is assuming they did not go through a locked gate or fence. If you can just drive in, that is not trespassing. If they have problems with people being on their property that should not be there...

The possibility that these are V4 gets me really excited. I hope it turns out to be the case! I pass by here a few times per year when I drive to Southern Ontario.

When you say "free" do you mean available or that there is no cost? Security does not check enters? You can just drive in?

Supercharger - Niagara Falls, ON - Morrison Road

I find this strange. There is already a Supercharger 3 km away. Just a bit north on Montrose Rd. Is that location always full or something?

Thanks! Looks ready to hook up, I guess it depends on how quickly they can get it in.

    New Pirelli stock tires?

I did it at the Tesla SC since this tire was not available anywhere else. $265 for the tire, $58.50 for labor.

    New Pirelli stock tires?

These came originally my 2023 MY. I needed one new one because of a puncture. So hard to say.

    New Pirelli stock tires?

YAY! I was finally able to get the tire from my Service Center! I have been waiting since early July for it!

Thanks for posting the photos MattM24!! It appears there is some construction happening in the part that is fenced off. Looks like pillars of some sort? Maybe that part will have a canopy?

    EV-Offer power frunk

I didn't do it yet. I was going to start with the power funk as my first mode, but went with the dash screen instead. I'll update when I get to it.

Any updated photos or progress information? With the cabinets already installed, I would think it was close.

    Cloud Profile Multiple Cars

I think I found the answer to the seat position when switching cars!! It appears that "seat calibration" resolves this problem. I did a seat calibration on both cars, and then re-saved the profile on one of them. Both cars now move into the correct position! Seat Calibration is a button in...

    Cloud Profile Multiple Cars

We have two MYs and I am using the same cloud profile in both cars. I am having a hard time with the seat positions. When I switch to the other car, the seat is not in the right position. If I adjust but not save, things are fine when I move back to the first. But if I adjust and save, things...

    New Pirelli stock tires?

The ones on my 2023 Model Y are definitely not run-flat. I got a puncture in the tread and had to pull over to plug it.

7 Major Automakers Band Together to build their own Network.

I am surprised we are talking about tax credits instead of promise of 30,000 chargers. That is a ridiculously high number. Tesla curranty has ~1,800 Super Chargers in North America, and that is the best charging network we have. EA has 800. Now these companies will build 30,000??? I guess...

    EV-Offer power frunk

Looking for the best discount code for EVoffer power frunk. Anything better than 5%? BTW, the EVoffer web site says that a 2023 MY may need the "Variant B". I sent their support a message on Facebook Messenger and they replied asking for a picture of the lower part of the stock strut. I sent it...

Living with the 16v LV battery

For a tire inflator, I ended up buying this AVID POWER Tire Inflator. It has a battery and 12v connection like my other one but this one works with the 16v outlet. It's also quieter and has a better display. I like it.

    Best power frunk kit?

I searched for a power frunk thread to see which one people are using, since prices vary a bit. I see several people with problems. I noticed this one from pimpmyev is $700, which is much more expensive than Hanshaw and evoffer. Anybody use this one or know why its more expensive? I would hope...

Living with the 16v LV battery

Right, the small battery gets placed under that small lid, which will allow you to open the frunk. But what do you do once the frunk is opened? Need something to boost the LV battery enough to power on the systems to put it into tow mode etc. This is where I am debating between a battery powered...

Living with the 16v LV battery

Thanks for pointing that out! I am not very experienced with towing. I went to that page in the manual but there is not much more about this. Does this mean that the power output of the hitch outlet is limited on lithium LV batty cars? What "auxiliary power" are they referring to?
  27. TheTinRam

Living with the 16v LV battery

Did you also put some kind of spare battery in the frunk? If so, what did you use?
  28. TheTinRam

Living with the 16v LV battery

I rented a U-Haul utility trailer. I connected it by using a 7 to 4 pin converter. The lights on the trailer worked just fine. No brakes on that trailer though.

    New Pirelli stock tires?

Ugh! I posted in this thread how the Service Center did not have the tire even though they said they ordered it, and I had to reschedule my appointment for a future date. Well now the Service Center messaged me saying they are having seeing "delays" in getting the tire and sked if I wanted to...

Living with the 16v LV battery

Clearly it does make a difference on some devices since my tire inflator does not work. I am thinking it probably does not matter for most devices, but its hard to tell which ones it does matter with until you try it.

Living with the 16v LV battery

When I connect the inflator to the "cigarette" outlet in the car, it turns on fine, but stops as soon as I try to inflate a tire. Essentially when the it tries to draw more current. This happens on the outlet in the center console and the trunk. Yet when I connect it to a 2021 MY with a lead...

Living with the 16v LV battery

Interesting that it is a 2023. According to the Weber University video, some early 16v batteries were mislabeled as 12v. He measured the voltage it was was indeed 16v
  33. TheTinRam

Living with the 16v LV battery

I attached a small battery on the inside of the jump wire cover on the bumper and just leave it there permanently. If the 16v is dead, I can remove the cover, connect the battery to the cables to open the frunk.

Living with the 16v LV battery

I am happy that Tesla started using Lithium-ion low voltage batteries because it will last so much longer. Living with the fact that its 16v is.... interesting. Not everything works with this 16v battery. I have a 12v tire inflator that does not work in our 2023 MY. It works just fine in our...

    New Pirelli stock tires?

I wonder if these still have foam in them. I didn't notice any when I plugged my puncture, but that doesn't necessarily mean it does not have it. PS. I think even the service centers are not used to dealing with these. I waited 3 weeks for them to order one to replace the one that is...

Supercharger - Mississauga, ON - N Service Road

Fantastic! Sherway is always jammed and you end up sharing a connection at the very least, or even waiting to charge! This will be very popular!

    Supercharger - Clearfield, PA

This is fantastic location for me. I pass by here when going to visit my parents, driving north from the DC area up to the Buffalo area. Altoona, Falls Creek and Salamanca are all 150 so its fantastic to see a 250 go up right on the way! For most, I expect the bigger benefit will be going East /...

    New Pirelli stock tires?

Agreed, anything that lowers prices. Tire costs are rally high. I am just surprised that this tire is not even showing on the Pirelli web site. It could be a new model like mentioned in this thread, or could Tesla have some kind of exclusive deal for this particular one?

    New Pirelli stock tires?

I am in the same boat. MYLR delivered in May of this year and have the Pirelli Scorpion MS, which I don't see listed on any site, even Pirelli. I got a flat from running over a bone (if you can believe that) and while I have it plugged, the hole is bigger and needed two plugs, so I obviously...
