Does anyone know how to remove the rear view mirror on a 23 model y? It’s set up differently than the rest are. I need to remove it in order to clean the glass on the inside of the camera assembly.

I believe I figured out the system that is causing the noise. Finally found this in another post. VFD (variable frequency drive) sound is a very high-pitched squeal that is actually louder at low speeds than high speeds.

Were you ever able to figure this out? Just started noticing a very high frequency sound from my 23 MYP. But mine is only at low speeds.

He’s old enough to not be able to hear it for ti the high frequency.

I was able to get a video of mine. It’s not a deal breaker just a little annoying with the windows down.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it loud, it’s just a super high frequency. And it’s not coming from the front of the car. It’s coming from the rear. I was actually able to capture a video of it. My father is 47, therefore he is completely unable to hear the noise. But I put the video in slow motion...

Update: It seems to be some sort of electrical sound. I took a video and slowed it down and found out that the sound doesn’t go away at 15mph, but actually gets even higher to the point to where you can’t hear it.

My car has just started doing this I think. I only notice it on Teslas streaming app though. When changing the station or skipping to the next song I hear two clicks or cracks. And they get louder with the volume.

Had the car always done that or did it just start randomly?
