That’s typical - insurance companies typically have a set amount for repairs and it may or may not be higher than their cash Price. Are you taking it to a collision center ? That could be the reason why. I don’t think hail damage is a deal breaker for most buyers ( unless the glass was cracked )...

Yeah that makes sense. I guess in my mind, I associated FUSC with tens of thousands of dollars but when I see it calculated- it makes more sense to buy the car I want - at a price I can afford than to calculate additional imagined savings.

Take this for what it’s worth, cause I was told this by a used car dealer but if the car was traded into Tesla and sold at auction, SuC was removed. I’ve tried to call Tesla and ask but I wasn’t able to get any real info. I’d be wary of anything that has more than one owner and isn’t private party.

Is there a way to find SUC with a guarantee it’s legit.? A lot of dealerships advertise it but it’s not something I’ve been able to confirm.
