Success: US/NA Model 3 charging on CCS2 in Europe

I think @FalconFour would be the best person to answer the question about the bundle of wires. He did mention to me before that this is not an advisable approach and we should compare the EU and NA charge port to understand the difference and we will find that the thermistors are on different pins.

    Changing ECU 1537264-00-B to 1537264-20-B

    Nope, I did not. I just swap a Gen-4 00-B to another Gen-4 20-B.

Success: US/NA Model 3 charging on CCS2 in Europe

Yeah, I have the same alert message CP_a109. I did not use the bundle, cuz my model 3 is already equipped with a Gen-4 ECU. Apparently the CP_a109 error has something to do with the heating capability of the charge port during winter. It is now incompatible because you’re still on a NACS port...

    Model 3: Rattling rear deck

Hey all, I managed to reproduce the rattles from the rear passenger seat, and the rattles disappeared after following the fix from Post #32. There is a small gap that hold the seats together. By putting a hard object in between pushes the seat forward, and it prevents the rattle when you go...

updates for Japan - why so delayed and features locked?

Hi, have anyone of you in Japan received your updates yet? I have a 2022 Model 3, still on 2023.38.9.1. Anyone received 2024.3.2 or 2023.44.30.16 yet?

Success: US/NA Model 3 charging on CCS2 in Europe

You need to do a software update or reinstall. Yes, 00-B enables CCS charging, and only works on non Tesla SC. I read it works with Tesla V2 Supercharger, not the V3.

Vibration/ rattle in backseat area of 2023 model 3

Hi, I managed to reproduce a rattle at the left rear passenger seat. Solution: there is a metal latch exposed on the tip, knocking against the base of the metal. I covered the metal latch with foam tape. Fixed! Model 3 2022 Rattle

US Tesla charge port retrofit to CCS2?

I managed to swap the ECU to 20-B. The supercharger works on my JP cars. You need a CCS2 to TPC adaptor with the switch, I believe to switch on/off the resistor. Conclusion, it works.

Car moving forward when in reverse

The bug can be reproduced. I’ve reported it to Tesla Service and I hope they do something with it. Just park your car with the front wheels elevated on a rubber curb.

Elevation bug, and the car reverses instead of moving forward in Drive (D)

hi, I encountered a 2nd episode, reproduced the same bug when I was parked. So my front wheels were slightly up on the parking curb. Parked for a few hours, returned to my car and put it into Drive (D) mode. To my surprise, it went into reverse when I pressed on the accelerator instead of moving...

Car moving forward when in reverse

Hi, I am posting here because I had a similar issue today. I was parked, and I switched to D. To my surprise, the car started Reversing! I tried shifting the mode to P, back to D, but instead of driving forward, the car goes into reverse. I quickly did the software reset using the two buttons...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in My US 2017 Model X

Sorry, let me rephrase my questions. Post 2021 Model 3 is already CCS-enabled, but the only issue is it doesn't work with Tesla's V3 CCS2 supercharger. Is there a fix to this just by using toolbox?

    Changing ECU 1537264-00-B to 1537264-20-B

Thanks for the reference. here is our situation: JDM Model 3 - CCS2 charging with NACS Adaptor works on Non-Tesla Chargers / Public Chargers. But, doesn't work on Tesla's CCS2 V3 Superchargers. We want to be able to get access to Tesla's CCS2 V3 Superchargers. How can we do that? Is there a...

Swapping Gen-4 ECUs 1537264-00-B with 20-B to get V3 CCS2 Superchargers to work.

Hi, I own a Model 3 2022 with NACS port, comes equipped with a Gen-4 1537264-00-B. In my region, Tesla's V3 Superchargers are CCS2 configured, and my CCS2 to NACS adaptor doesn't work on V3s, though it operates smoothly with public CCS2 non-Tesla chargers. 1. Considering my ECU is a NA/US...

Success: US/NA Model 3 charging on CCS2 in Europe

My Model 3 comes with Gen 4 P1537264-00-B which works with any CCS2 Non-Tesla chargers. Just that it doesn’t work with the 250kWh Tesla superchargers. If I retrofit it with the P1537264-20-B, would it work?

Can you use a non-Tesla NACS charger with a CCS non-compatible Model Y?

I have a 2022 Model 3 RWD with NACS port. I am able to do CCS2 charging at non-Tesla’s supercharger with Adaptors, except for Tesla’s V3 CCS2 superchargers. Does replacing the ECU to 1537264-00-B work on my Model 3 2022?
