Imagine all of you that keep pushing your model y reservation for the ev credit

Y’all waiting for the credit to come back do know that Tesla would immediately raise their prices to claw back 80% of it, right? Each time the credit was phased out, Tesla lowered their prices to compensate most of the difference. The EV credit is ultimately an incentive for EV manufacturers...

Supercharger - San Diego, CA - Truxtun Rd (LIVE 6 May 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

FYI, the permit application has been updated with the actual location, in the parking lot at the west corner of Truxtun and Roosevelt. There are existing Chargepoint chargers there. Still no permit issued though, and no update on the type or number of chargers.

Supercharger - San Diego, CA - Truxtun Rd (LIVE 6 May 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

Yay happy to have found my third SD supercharger :-D. This one was the trickiest yet. It has happened with previous permits (e.g. the Del Mar Heights permit) that the initial submission has the wrong geo location in the DSD system, and defaults to the middle of downtown. Sometimes it also an...

I'm not clear on this. I also arrived after midnight on a Friday night and could not find a path to the chargers, since there are closed gates. Is there a path to the chargers when the gates are closed? I've marked the two gates I saw on the map, I assume there are others. Screen Shot 2019-07-28...

My 2014 S85 seems to have only ~63 kWh usable

I could use some help understanding the readout here. I charged the car to 100%, then drove around town until I got down to 12 miles range remaining. Despite starting with "242" rated miles, I wouldn't have even reached 200 miles. This is with an efficiency that was 319 Wh/mi, vs the 298...

Blog Tesla Could Soon Deliver 400 Miles Per Charge

Yes, I got my first squeaks from the front brakes at 75k. Rears squeaked at 98k. You can get new drilled/slotted/dipped rotors and ceramic pads on Amazon for <$200/axle and do it yourself. I made the mistake of having a place do the fronts and it cost me $1000! They got all OEM parts direct from...

Blog Tesla Could Soon Deliver 400 Miles Per Charge

Let's set a Kona (or Niro) and a 2012 Model S (with brand new 85 kWh battery pack) off at 65 MPH and see which one stops first. Guarantee it's not the Tesla. Rated (self-certified) range is slightly lower than the Tesla, but those Korean cars are far outpacing their rating (10-20%), while you'd...

Supercharger - San Diego, CA - Del Mar Heights Road (CLOSED 16 Sep 2021, 18 urban stalls)

The parking structure was pretty busy today! That may be the limiting factor -- just the time/hassle it takes to get through to the top floor. Was never more than half-full during the noon hour on a Saturday. Should be horrendous once the shops are all up and running.

Supercharger - San Diego CA - A Street (LIVE 27 Jun 2018, 16 Urban type)

Yeah it'll cost ya $5 all day on Sunday. I would recommend using one of the two destination chargers after vacating the super chargers in order to avoid the idle fees and continue charging.

Supercharger - San Diego, CA - Camino Del Sur (Black Mountain Ranch area, LIVE 11 Jan 2019)

I'm not sure it's possible for an EV to "ICE" a parking spot. In fact I'm sure it's not possible, since it has no internal combustion engine. Leafs and Volts are so narrow they could probably still fit anyway. Bad parking job nonetheless, which is all too common in the Tesla community...

If anyone sees that the roadblock/flooding on Avenida del Rio is gone, could you update here? Until then, everyone should be aware that the Nav will take you to a closed route. Until then, take Fashion Valley Rd to Riverwalk instead, or take Friars Rd W from the North.

Based on the wording "contractor needs to obtain meter # for release" in the inspection status it seems more like a contractor issue. The Model 3 must be smaller than I imagine because that red one fits nicely in the spot, but it was treacherously-small-looking for my S, and I would expect to edge into the oversized "handicap" spot adjacent to it.

Warning: Irresponsible FUD ahead How many of these stalls will regularly be occupied by: 1.) Tesla Test Drive Cars 2.) Valet parking (I know it's a bit of a jog for the valet, but seems like a handy way for them to "juice" their tips by providing this extra benefit)
