MyQ will always flash lights in the garage before closing so anyone near the garage door has a warning the door will be coming down. The opener doesn't know there is someone in a car with eyes on the situation. As far as the opener knows, the command could be coming from the other side of the world.

FWIW I've only had one Tesla, a 2023 M3P since mid-October. Only Manual setting of Dashcam automatically saves any recording of just driving. Not a very intuitive name for the setting. I thought automatic sounded like an optimal setting but as soon as I set that, I no longer had any recordings...

I know how to add icons to the tray. The issue is I don't see ANY icon anywhere for an app named Camera or named anything hinting at a camera. Closest is dashcam which I already added to the tray on day one. Tapping it just saves what's recording, which is why I added it to the tray.

Thanks. Did not know about that command. The voice command will work great to solve parking in our garage. 2023 model has no usable front parking aids. Front distances via Tesla Vision are all over the map and always wrong. We have a pretty large buffer in the garage and easy to park the car...

Thanks, but been there, done that. :) I can NOT de-select either Radio or Tune-In. The sliders are greyed out for those. But if those aren't causing the loss of USB search, I can tolerate them being there but unused. But very annoying that any play voice command while USB is playing currently...

Yep, that's pretty much a given. So is the factory part over the bag. So, it comes down to an aftermarket cover has been tested and govt or manufacturer certified. It sounds like the sort of thing that govt might have standards or laws for. But nothing pops up at least with my search terms.
