The whole procedure was 15 min.one side 15 min.other side. Half hour of your time and you have better range and safe stopping and possible FSD with less strikes .

Make sure that electric motor caliper is far inside if not we use 9volt battery with some leads and connect motor to go in or out as you wish.so we put piston more inside,remember you cant use any pliers to compress piston because its electric.

After cleaning brake pads and sliding pins and mounting harware silver anti seize grese was applied only on contact points.

Make sure to put brake pads on same side they were before you remove them . Anyway it will be markings on brake pads from caliper and back plate ,back plate will be glued to pad as you can see from pictures.

After that was easy to remove caliper and brake pads to clean . One amazing thing ,tesla was using some super strange grease on sliding pins . Which dry out after 3 month driving and pistons not seized but very hard to move in and out .that is maybe reason why range was less .so we put special...

thank you tesla team for warranty. i got service call and they replace fog lights -now i have revision D and original was revision A so ;much better and no moisture i knew it that seals are broken on all lights but tesla didnt issue any recall for lights yet

Just be carefull when feeding lock cable thru back panel to not unlatch at door lock .and route all wires harnes away from window .if dont do properly window will slide down and brake all wires. Just like small side note.
