That is a good point. Perhaps variations in the board components sourced? Software bugs can definitely happen when suppliers choose between two "interchangeable" components.

You can detach it from the NACs connector by covering the latch point on the NACs handle with thick tape before insertion. I do not recommend it but it does work.
