How would you know you have a problem with the device without installing it and attempting to use it?As long as it hasn’t been installed you should be good. Once it is installed no dice.
I hear ya... Trying to get any emails back from Tesla has been a pain. Complete radio silence. Starting to question getting this charger, and even my plan to swap out my wife's car for a Tesla with this slow customer service.How would you know you have a problem with the device without installing it and attempting to use it?

I ordered this same adapter to hopefully use at Tesla Destination chargers that still only have the NACS plug. Hopefully they dont have a widespread issue with these new Universal Wall Connectors since Hilton is apparently installing 20k of them. Having a CCS car, this is an important option for me for road trips with overnight stays.Well I just received the Lectron Tesla to J1772 adapter and of course it started charging IMMEDIATELY. There needs to be some mechanism to replace the adapter as it certainly could become damaged. You can detach it from the NACs connector by covering the latch point on the NACs handle with thick tape before insertion.
