Etched hard-water type marks on plastic trim

I have that, I'll give it a try. I was also curious if others are seeing hard to remove water spots on this piece.

Etched hard-water type marks on plastic trim

On my 6 mo old M3 I noticed there are these hard-water type of stains on the plastic trim. I've tried various cleaners but they won't come off. It feels smooth when I rub my finger over them, almost like they're below the top surface. My first thought was maybe there's a plastic film that I need...

    Phone key doesn't always connect

So a potential workaround? This happened again last night, this time I switched the phone to airplane mode, waited 3 secs, then turned off airplane mode waited a few secs, pushed the handle and the car unlocked.

    Phone key doesn't always connect

Same issue here on both my older Pixel 4a and my daughter's iPhone 15 pro. It's very inconsistent though, sometimes it doesn't happen for days, other times it does without any rhyme or reason. This morning I went outside (with bluetooth, location etc enabled and the Tesla app running in the...

My M3 is on software ver 2023.32.100 which hasn't updated in over 2 mos

Nice, glad to see the updates are rolling out for everyone...looks like .38 and .44 are neck and neck in terms of the percentage of cars on each. Those of you on .38 do you have FSD (paid version, not the basic)?

My M3 is on software ver 2023.32.100 which hasn't updated in over 2 mos

I think everyone should be getting 44.1 soon, it's being rolled out now. Look at Tesla Software Updates & Release Notes - Latest Tesla Updates -as of this typing 500+ installs just today. The only change I made a few days ago was switched my Software preference to 'Advanced' as shown in the...

My M3 is on software ver 2023.32.100 which hasn't updated in over 2 mos

Yeah, prob because the updates are cumulative so the 2023.44.1 includes everything since 2023.32.100 - or during the install process it may have applied several past updates behind the scenes to get me up to 2023.44.1

My M3 is on software ver 2023.32.100 which hasn't updated in over 2 mos

OP here with an update. Interestingly I just got a software update notification to update to .44 👍

My M3 is on software ver 2023.32.100 which hasn't updated in over 2 mos

Good call but yes my car connects to wifi at home where it's parked most of the time and has cell connectivity elsewhere. Just odd they have so few cars on this version and it's not being updated as often as the .38

My M3 is on software ver 2023.32.100 which hasn't updated in over 2 mos

Yeah that's interesting...maybe I should've kept the Premium connectivity lol But kidding aside, I wonder why so few cars are on this release when the majority are on 2023.38?

My M3 is on software ver 2023.32.100 which hasn't updated in over 2 mos

So my 2+ mos old M3 came with 2023.32.100 and it hasn't updated since. I've restarted the computer a few times using the two scroll buttons- which forces it to check for updates but it still shows no updates available even though there have been a few minor updates since 32.100. However, more...

    Is battery calibration pointless?!

I've read a few long threads here in my short time. I guess the conclusion I arrived at is even with the LFP battery I should just prob charge to 60% (at work), get home with 48% then back again at work the next day with 35%. Rinse and repeat (35% -> 60%) daily. On weekends charge as required...

    Is battery calibration pointless?!

But what about the LFP? Tesla recommends we charge these bad boys to 100% at least once a week! 😱

How is my LFP battery holding up after 2 years?

Nice, thanks for sharing the data @kelvin 660 . However, as a new LFP M3SR owner I'm also curious what your charging habits have been? Are you following Tesla's recommendation for charging daily and at least 100% once a week?
